Yeah this idea about a terrible value for a first rounder, eventually it becomes a sunk cost and you have to move on one way or another. Clearly they've wanted to move on for some time.NJ lost on Holtz the minute they drafted him. Who cares about trading him now. I’m disappointed Schmid is going but NJ does have a goalie logjam now. Malek will likely join Daws and Poulter in the mix after next season. Brennan is also still marinating. Schmid for Cotter and a third doesn’t sound awful in a vacuum. But is Cotter actually a big dude? Seems more like a Lazar
Looks like shite to me. Bunch of f***ing jobbers.
No Kakko is a bust Holtz is on the brink of busting out. IMO. Jack Eichel can make Holtz rich. Vegas coaching staff can whip his ass into shape too. Oh we'll wait and see just my uneducated guess.Holtz being 7th overall 4 years ago has zero relevance to his value today. He has been a bust.
Not a single team wanted him. We have tried to trade him for 2 years now lolThis feels like giving up on Holtz just to get rid of him. Not surprised after how Fitz dragged him when talking about him.
I’m not seeing the Ls. I actually kind of love the new look of the roster shaping up if the Dillon and Pesce moves are really happening. Holtz was not good or a fit here.Blame our drunk ass GM. This guy is just taking L after L right now.
It could happen but it might take a while. No Kakko is a bust Holtz is on the brink of busting out. IMO. Jack Eichel can make Holtz rich. Vegas coaching staff can whip his ass into shape too. Oh we'll wait and see just my uneducated guess.
The entire organization dragged him. Swiss hockey dragged him, not picking him for the Worlds team over semipro level players. Everyone's dragged him according to this board. At some point people have to acknowledge he's the issue with his own career. This feels like giving up on Holtz just to get rid of him. Not surprised after how Fitz dragged him when talking about him.
