I've seen better games. 3 hours none of us will ever get back. Team looks defeated. Absolutely no juice to their game outside 3or4 guys.

Liked O'Toole again. 3 big hits. Kid packs a punch too. Really hope he can improve other areas cause we could use someone like him. Andersen wasn't to bad either.

6 games left mercifully.

That was a miserable game to watch. This team is checked out. Veterans looked completely uninterested. I liked the jump Lominac and Sim played with. From what I saw in today's game I'd be giving them a lot more ice time and guys like Doucette, Sikic, and Way a lot less. Put some of the young guys on the PP and see what they can do over the last 6 games. Give Chartier some starts and see if you can Maillet in there for one of the two games against Flint. I think Letang needs to give some of these guys a reminder in practice this week that no spots are guaranteed in this league

Seca did the post game today. He seem to be hinting at such things as to effort. Some of the vets definitely have checked out. Shame to see considering their success in this league mainly came from work ethic over skill. I'm not to mad at them because I imagine it's really hard to wake up for these games but still unfortunate.

It's hard for OAs to get up for games when there is really nothing to play for and they can't do it themselves. Might not have drive to play for their careers if not going anywhere or have already commited to a CIS team. Since trade deadline I have seen a big difference in Sikic forsure. Is it not all on him but leaders need to lead and I dont see it from him. Filak has stepped his game back too back check was weak by forwards today beside a handful. That's just not good enough DS sounded confused as well, hopefully about his staff

Buzz played like a team that know they're done.... that's fine.. I'd say the majority of the year the effort has been there... I hate that they had a losing year with such good attendance. I hope the fans come back next year because I think we're going to have an exciting team, unlike this year, which was some of the most boring hockey I've watched.

Yep. I imagine they lose a bit but hopefully doesn't fall below 3,500. It's been awesome seeing it packed every night. Best attendance since 03-04 & it's in a yr where we utterly suck.

Agreed with the right summer next year's team could be really exciting to watch.

The battle on D next year is gonna be the story of camp.

Young - 19
Schneider - 19
Fischer -18
Omeri - 18
O'Toole - 18
Hurt - 17
Barr - 17
Bridgewater - 17
Andersen - 17
+ I'm sure they draft 1or2 kids in this class that will push/ be close.

#1 reason Cajkovic should be let go. Be illogical to keep him with at least 9 other guys competing on D.

Be exciting to see what types of jump we'll see from a number of those guys. Honestly really hoping O'Toole can emerge. Love his size/snarl/hitting. Could be great match beside Barr, Young or Bridgewater if he can improve.

Andersen is a gamer. Think he's played better with each game. Like his snarl too.

So much competition should be great. Drive them all to improve as much as possible to earn their spots & gives us depth incase of injuries or get some picks or a F in exchange for one of them if multiple develop well.

Import picks don't always turn out like limpar and vilmanis. Can't remember 2 picks playing at same time that were so impactful. Let's hope DS has good scouting over seas and imports will come. Kukumberg kind of a bust in my eyes
LETANG needs to put few lines together to showcase next year's team for the fans get them excited, and hopefully stay with team. now that team is done from playoffs if they accept it, that is.

Doucette wainwright kostuch
Brown filak doherty
Moses hall lominac
Sikic way sim
Chartier needs to play and get mailett in for 2 games atleast needs a taste see what we have. Surzycia has played too much

Well I think boys will rebound and have some pride and muster up some good games over next 3... then we will see.
Hope Letang plays players that are bringing effort and 4th line the going through motion players regardless who they are send message to young guys..

Question how could sarnia's top Goal scorer 2nd in pts, doucette, who has the 9th worst Plus/ Minus in League at -30 But he plays in roles as teams "best defensive player" this is a head scratcher to me

I mean they have a depleted defense. Everyone is a big minus. He plays a lot of minutes. Rightly, wrongly doesn't really matter.

Idk if anyone has said he's our best defensive F. Sikic, Way, Wainwright, Filak all are better defensively.

Attack fan here just a question for you guys. What was the story on Dylan Grover? I went to Collingwood last night for gm 3 against Brantford 99ers. Grover was in net and looked extremely solid score was 4-0 Collingwood but could have been double that.

Was a middle round pick. Had a couple games here & there for us. Wasn't great but wasn't terrible.

Came to camp last year as a pretty clear favorite to be the backup to Gaudreau & In camp he started out well then completely fell apart the final 2 weeks of pre season, lost his spot to surzycia & that was that.

Chartier starts Omeri is back. And Wainwright has been moved to the wing and Filak at centre. I thought we all ready learned Filak can't play centre.

Wainwright hurt his shoulder vs KGN. Might just be playing it safe/taking some responsibility off him.

No clue why Chartier didn't start Sunday vs a lesser team but whatever. Hopefully has a good start. He needs one to get some confidence.

Best period they've had in awhile! Passing was really solid. Playing with speed. Chartier some really high quality saves, too.

Trying Kostuch at C it looks like. I like that a lot.

Best game they've played in a bit. Just don't have enough simply put. Especially on D with the injuries.

I liked Andersen again though. Solid skater, fearless, head is always up. Good summer & he could be a solid 3rd pair guy next year.

Thought Chartier was solid outside the 3rd goal. MIS did a great job generating traffic out front. They are relentless on the foredheck. Was impressive.

PBO won on the brightside. Only 2 points out of 3rd best odds now. Onto Friday.

With us being officially eliminated from the playoffs. It would be nice to see Maillet finally get a start.

Can you explain how the lottery works? I assumed bottom 4 each had a 25% chance... is this wrong?

Chartier had a strong game, hard to blame him for most of those.

If Wainwright was hurt, it didn’t show IMO, looked electric.

Kostuch IMO showing his great vision and creativeness, feels like a marked improvement watching him now vs his first few games with us. I have both high hopes and expectations for him next season - has really put himself in a position to make a mark on this team.
