A few days ago I said he's going to do it, just book it, and so he did (what a goal by the way). Then again, before the season I'd never have expected him to break this record in particular cause he always seemed like a pass first type of a player. I guess after ~half a season with Filppula he realized he needed to do things by himself and evolved a lot offensively. Lately I've been thinking how Kakko seems to have that same drive as Laine did in his respective D year and the will to be a game-changer. He just seems to elevate in each game and hardly ever looks gassed out going into the third period. Quite the contrary actually. He's always hungry for more and more and never giving up. Admirable quality and I hope he never loses that.
Anyway, just wow! Congratz Kakko,! Well earned.
