Slaf isn't a 1st line winger, Newhook isn't a top 6 player, Dach isn't a 2C, Laine needs 2 physical linemates to compete 5 on 5, the team needs a "bad cop" coach to rip into the team occasionally to balance out Marty's good coach approach and we need a stay at home defenseman to play the minutes that Matheson's getting.

At this point Laine is /was a 1 trick pony with the famous PK one timer.The guy is WAY too slow and defense is a bad word for him.They should have him up for trade

When will MSL realize that Laine needs to be HS for at least 1 game? He has no speed, so bad stick work, loses fights. I understand it's a result of injury, but that doesn't mean he has to ruin the team. Even Pezzetta is more useful. Patrik is playing horrendous, ECHL level.

And who will take it? Besides, he's got M-NTC. Hughes and MSL need to have a serious talk with him, like they did with Slavkovský. Ideal is HS to the end of the trip and call Florian Xhekai.

Not surprised and as I get older I care less and less. Been watching this mediocrity since Tremblay and Houle. Over half the years I have watched this team they have been below average.

I feel for the young fans who never got to witness a Habs dynasty.
No 100 point player in 39 years, no 50 goal scorer in 35 years and no 40 goal scorer in 31 years.
This era of loyal Hab fans deserve better than this.
