Broberg was never a RHD. Frankly, he's in tough because this team is stacked at LD. But he's good enough right now to be an everyday 3rd pair NHL Dman, IMO. He's been outstanding in the AHL and serviceable in his time here.

Canes fans must be losing their minds at their team doing nothing.
I wonder if there might be several players available in the 11th hour for lower prices than expected. The only big fish left are Guentzel and to a lesser extent Toffoli/Eberle. If those deals drag and hold up trade suitors on you might be able to slide in and get a decent Barabanov/Duclair class of player for less than expected.

Why is everyone so big on Carrier. He's undersized and has next to no offense. Is he big enough to bust cycles? I'm not impressed tbh.

Didn't someone get traded mid-game a year or two ago. Not Oilers though.
Could technically trade Brown I guess, but I'd wait just in case someone gets hurt in warmup or sick or something stupid.
Who's scared of Dallas and Vancouver? Honestly with the season the Oilers are having those teams are afraid of playing us, not the other way around.

Yeah I think I remember that. I know it happens in Baseball (the Jays did it once like a decade ago), but even if they do it before the game, if it's a defenseman they'll be in a tough spot.

honestly the east haven't done anything significant when it comes to trades. Other than Florida, I am not seeing any team I would hate to face if we make it to the final.
Yep. Thats what I’m thinking. Any trade is either going to be Foegele or Ceci out and Holland isn’t going to short his roster for the game. Any other trade except a 7th D was always going to be after the game or tomorrow.

Guy is a pain in the ass, but at the same time fun to play against as you can get into his head so easy and he starts to take dumb penalties.
