He is no world beater, but he is a great fit for this dcore, especially playing beside a monster in Nurse.Absolutely, I'm super high on this player as well.

On the flip side if we are trying to make a run for the cup you trade BrobergThe Oilers are trying to make a run to the Cup, they decided they didn't want kids holding down 7th defense and 4C spots. Which really makes sense.
The Oilers can still use those players, if need be as well.
Ceci to Carrier is a MAJOR step forward for an already very good group. He is no world beater, but he is a great fit for this dcore, especially playing beside a monster in Nurse.
He would have to be put on waivers today, to be clear of any trades we make between now and the deadline. We can't send anyone down anymore to become cap compliant.Janmark is under the bury limit, so he'd be off the cap in Bako(assuming he clears waivers).
If the right deal is there, no reason to give him away if you don't have to.On the flip side if we are trying to make a run for the cup you trade Broberg
The tricky thing there is San Jose only has one retention slot.If we move Foegele, we can add Duclair, Barabanov and Carrier all at 75%.
Just have to waive Brown tho![]()
They can't add Borh Duclair and Barabanov at 75% because SJ already has 2 of it's retentions spot filled. If we move Foegele, we can add Duclair, Barabanov and Carrier all at 75%
I'd post this, but then people would get mad at me. Considering our situation, If we are indeed done i'd give it a SOLID CIf we are done this TDL is like C+/B- at best IMO. Henrique is awesome but we are losing the arms race significantly.
Okay let's change it to Ebs, Barabanov and Carrier 75% off lolThe tricky thing there is San Jose only has one retention slot.
You didn’t say “it would be hard”.LOL whats with people making fake ass assumptions
sorry you do like reading opposing opinions of your favorite team
its a very unpopular to think Oilers will have a hard time beating a 100m cap team, top team in the west, and a very strong team in Dallas. sorry I said anything?
2 to 3 more top end players on top of that we already got? lol noNo one is adding 2-3 players? Well that's just factually incorrect.
You're the one who decided to call out other posters for 'having unrealistic expectations.' All I did was point out why I don't feel that's the case.
Everyone wants Carrier so badly. People are willing to play him at 4CClaim Lemieux off waivers to rock a
Lemieux-Carrier-Perry 4th line
Lemieux is barely good enough to play. His only positive trait is he is a bit of a best. But on a very good Carolina team he gave up an absolute crap ton. Bad bad player.Claim Lemieux off waivers to rock a

Ya he probably has some deals he has offered and now he's waiting. There are still lots of players out there. Even duclair is lookinf goodYup sounds like Holland is waiting on another move. Usually he would come out and say 'we're done'...
and I also didn't say we should just wave a white flag and give up so where did your assumption come fromYou didn’t say “it would be hard”.
Good thing you're not the authority. It's been made clear today that both Carrier is available (on the right deal) and the Oilers are digging at trying to get him.Carrier is a clear upgrade over Ceci. He plays better against tougher competition than Ceci does. Size isn't everything and Ceci doesn't really use his anyway. Unfortunately, Nashville has been really good lately and Carrier is a big reason why...so I'm not sure he's available anymore.
I love pests. But they have to be able to play and not hurt you.Lemieux is barely good enough to play. His only positive trait is he is a bit of a best. But on a very good Carolina team he gave up an absolute crap ton. Bad bad player.
ITs pretty obvious he is waiting on Eberle or Carrier cause all signs point to them being available IF they can't get signed by tomorrow.Ya he probably has some deals he has offered and now he's waiting. There are still lots of players out there. Even duclair is lookinf good
Who knows. Blues might not even trafw Buchnevich

Really does sound like he some irons in the fire still. Like most have said there are a ton of teams playing tonight that need to ice a full team so anything that goes down is either later after the games or tomorrowYa he probably has some deals he has offered and now he's waiting. There are still lots of players out there. Even duclair is lookinf good

He is available if they can't sign him by tomorrow. They aren't a contender and have some good AHL d they want to give ice time too and if Carrier decides he isn't part of the future, they want to get some assets for him. The playoffs are just about experience for them, winning a cup isn't their goal this year so if Carrier isn't part of the future, get a pick. Same thing Philly did with Walker.Carrier is a clear upgrade over Ceci. He plays better against tougher competition than Ceci does. Size isn't everything and Ceci doesn't really use his anyway. Unfortunately, Nashville has been really good lately and Carrier is a big reason why...so I'm not sure he's available anymore.
Yep, he ADDED everything he could. Tomorrow will be about upgrading certain players (Ceci, Foegele)That's how I feel it too. He got some basic pieces that were a need. Now it's about UPGRADING the roster and tweaking it, IF the cost isn't too bad.
