My guess is Holland has told teams what he can pay, and to come back to him tomorrow if they can't do better

As for goaltending, for goalies that have played a minimum of 10 games, the League average save % is .897%, Skinner has a .906% and Pickard has a .909%

Those situations are not a dire as you are making them out to be...

Yeah our tending is about league average right now. 25th and 31st in save% (min 10 GP) out of 69, so even slightly above average in that regard. They are +0.9 and +0.6 in goals saved above expected as well (so basically exactly what you would expect on average). Our tending was GOD AWFUL in October through mid-December, but Skinner has actually been above average since then.

Kind of like the Brassard trade. Sure people don't like that deal, but that's the type of scenario I see.

GM's know by now what type of player or even specific players that Holland likes on their team. Every team for that matter. Come an hour before the deadline those deals whether it's an Eberle or another depth like player start to flow.

For sure. Last I heard it was a term thing. Obviously Eberle is at the point where this could be his last multi year deal, but at the same time he's at that age he might want to chase the cup. Tough decisions to make.

If Hall was a UFA I'd trade Ty Taylor for him. Even though he could very well not even play a lick of time, at least he could come and hang with his buddies lol.

The problem is that Skinner is starting to show a pattern of going through slumps and I would love a 1B, but goaltenders are so unpredictable these days that I don't even know if it's worth upgrading Picard. Also, Rodrigue has been playing well in the AHL.

The only time I remember Ebs and Nuge struggling together was when they were anchored with Lucic
