Say it ain't so. Supposedly the Canes and Rantanen aren't close on a new deal yet.
Some rumblings are starting to surface that he COULD go back on the block.
It'll probably turn out to be a false alarm, click bait. And he signs within a week but nothing's guaranteed in business.
If he's determined to test the market, Carolina management/ownership can't be comfortable dumping assets two years in a row for nothing.
Will be interesting to watch.
 
Listen I think Tulsky's a very good GM and wish we would've ended up with him over Dubas, but if he trades for Jake and Rantanen in back to back seasons, just for both of them to walk a few months after their trades, that is objectively f***ing hilarious. Just belly laughing, funny shit. :laugh:

I don’t blame them for going for it. They still have a very good prospect system still, somehow. But if they don’t win the Cup and Rantanen walks then yea- Necas, Bunting, Koivunen, Drury, Ponomarev, Lucius and two 2nds for nothing kinda stings.

Especially with Necas having 4g, 5a in 8 games since, and Rantanen's got 1g, 1a in 6 games.

So the 4 nation games won’t be streamed? Looks like they’re just keeping them on cable?

Way to grow the game NHL. Number one way people watch entertainment and your only method of watching is a dying platform.

You might want to check on that again. There are multiple places to stream the games.

Where? Everything I see says a few games on espn+? The TNT ones do not look to be on Max.

They show fubu and sling but those are only ostensibly streaming services since all you’re doing is buying cable through a streaming platform.

I mean... it's all bad so to pick on just one selection would be folly but... f***in' COLDPLAY... really? Do those dorks still even bother these days? Did one of their songs get big on TikTok recently or something? Why would Coldplay even still be present in the cultural zeitgeist?

EDIT: Dudes un-ironically like to listen to Morgan Wallen without any pestering from their girlfriends? TIL

Haha I saw that. Not really surprising. The shocking thing would be if a hockey player said they listened to something legitimately great. Or hell even just good.

Coldplay is the answer a video game NPC would give in like 2012.

Sorry to go on about it. I really, really don't like that band lol
