Michkov has 3 seasons in the KHL.
There's no rush.
At some point he'll get on the ice and force the HC to play him.
It's not like a little humility and focus on fundamentals will erode his offensive skill set.
He's still 18, I'm more concerned with how he progresses to 21 than whether he leads the KHL in scoring this season.

Playing time is crucial to development…there is absolutely no reason to be “ok” with your top prospect not playing as much as possible.

I saw a video of a bucking mare one shotting a stallion. He got so lucky. We're unlucky that his near death experience didn't change his hockey perspective in any meaningful way. What a stubborn codger.

Galchenyuk didn't take Michkov's spot. Galchenyuk basically took Gritsyuk's spot as they moved Zinchenko to wing and moved Glotov down the lineup.
Michkov and Demidov appear (for now) to be the rotating 13th forward as every KHL team is required to dress an U-20. Demidov took Michkov's spot, not Galchenyuk.
Rotenberg is an idiot. But let's at least be factual about his idiocy.
