Tortotella would suggest to Rotenberg for his next act he should bench Michkov in his hometown & then play dumb about it after the fact to the media.
Oh and don’t forget to include that he always clearly communicates with his players about why they’re benched.Tortotella would suggest to Rotenberg for his next act he should bench Michkov in his hometown & then play dumb about it after the fact to the media.
This is still better than the Flyers and Tortorella developing him.
Admittedly, not playing is still not playing. Yes, I think Torts would suck major ass developing offense out of a kid like this, but yeah, both are bad right now.
Seriously, this shit is frustrating seeing SKA just do nothing with this, but a completely nothing Galchenyuk gets 1C.
I'd rather he not play for a few games than be actively taught the wrong way to play, which is what the Flyers do
Michkov's hometown doesn't have a KHL team, but he previously was in the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl system, so let's see if he plays there on the 8th of September.Tortotella would suggest to Rotenberg for his next act he should bench Michkov in his hometown & then play dumb about it after the fact to the media.
So they have the new offer with Yandex Plus for russian subscribers active now for 1.990 RUB yearly.
As a foreigner it is still not possible to subscribe with a western credit card. But I just found a way to buy the offer. For that I installed the KHL app at my Android device, logged in to my account and there is the possibility to pay for single games and montly or yearly passes for one team or all games. Just ordered the yearly pass for all matches for 33,99€ with payment via my google account. After that the webstream works as well again also at my desktop PC at home.
Not all institutions in Russia are under sanctions though, just some banks, very likely that the KHL's bank isn't one of them, otherwise pretty sure the google would block the payments there. Not that I think the government will come after me, but I'm not eager to bypass sanctions and feed money into Russia in the process
Will Putin show up to scrimmage against them and then the goalie let his goals go through like it's the Flyer's charity thing and 8 year old kids are shooting on the goal?Michkov will think nothing of nepotism in Philly after his experience at SKA with Rotenberg, the ultimate nepogarch baby. i would bet folding money that rotenberg pencils himself into the lineup if SKA reaches the Gagarin cup finalsWill Putin show up to scrimmage against them and then the goalie let his goals go through like it's the Flyer's charity thing and 8 year old kids are shooting on the goal?

What's there to defend? SKA isn't a Flyers affiliate.MUST DEFEND EVERYTHING!
Demidov played 8 minutes and 12 minutes in his two games. Odds that Michkov beats that?
I must add that since there hasn’t been any international competition for team Russia in the last 2 years, the hype around Michkov in Russia has dwindled down, at least in the media. I think the fact he wasn’t picked top 3 also played a role in it as most people in Russia have no clue how draft worksI think people are overreacting just a tad.
KHL is a conservative league.
Given his draft position and hype, wouldn't surprise me if there's a target on his back, at least to start the season.
Not the worst thing if he gradually eases his way in this season.
I'd be worried if it were March and he was stuck in a 4th line role.
