He’s been a poor performer for awhile. COL made a bad move to fill a hole.

He’s got two teams paying him to go away…plus picks.

Yeah I mean, Byram is 3 years younger which is nice...but they are pretty full on puck moving D and especially LHD, guess they'll play him on his offside, which he's capable of, but meh. Head injury history + a liability when the puck isn't on his stick. I like it for Colorado more than Buffalo for sure

I don't see Philly doing us any favors but I wonder if they would dump him to us @50% for real cheap. Might be a decent fill in for our 3rd line

They’ve gotta make a trade somewhere, no one wants to play there unless it’s a major overpay via UFA. Sure, it’s a young team, but they are going on 10+ seasons out of the playoffs and not any closer for next year.

From MY understanding Tarasenko had a 1 team trade list, so they got what they could get. Sort of like Kane to the Rangers last year

Byram has had concussion issues and NYI didn't have an expendable 2C making less than 3M per who's played at 60 point pace the last two seasons.
