Correct me if I’m wrong, but, Barzal isn’t a big, physical center. I don’t believe he’s much bigger than Hughes. Just staple Kreider to his wing and watch the magic.

Hughes is never going to be a monster, but from a size standpoint I often think of guys like Sakic, or Yzerman, or Lafontaine from my youth, or some of the “smaller” guys today.

Personally, I’ll be surprised if it’s a problem.

I don’t see it being a problem, either.

So what’s Veseys value ? Probably should just dump him now no?

If he doesn’t really put it together here, hopefully we can find a 1 for 1 move for him that works out in our favor. I could be mixing up players, but IIRC someone suggested Vesey in a ‘scaled down Domi for Galchenyuk’ trade the other day and I think that was a good way of describing a potential move that might occur for him. Vesey is a smart kid, seems like a great lockerroom type. He is going for 40 pts this season. Sometimes we make it sounds like he is worthless, but 40 pts for a forward with very little PP time is actually fairly good. On many teams that is clear top 6 production.

There are good players out there that are struggling and/or have issues. Vesey might be a good add for a team looking to unload a guy like that.

Puljarvi for Vesey ?

Nope. Metal/rangers fan

I’m sorry if I haven’t gulped the koolaide and started hullicinating and believing the draft will bring us to the promised land.

Not buyin it.

This is going to be a long dark slog

I’m a Bills/Mets/Rangers fan.

You don’t know what pain is my friend. :scared:

And I’m ok with it being a long and dark ride. One thing I’ve developed in my lifetime is patience.

The Rangers and the Bills are the same ****ing team. Always falling short but not short enough to pick in a spot where you can draft elite talent.

Now, I am genuinely curious. I know you have some very strong feelings about what the Rangers are doing, and aren’t afraid to share those feelings.

What would your strategy be?

No one here is disappointed by that.

Hopefully not - it certainly doesn’t hurt his cause.

I admit to a little bit of uneasiness, only because we tend to deal in extremes around here and when the good times stop, we’re right back into the depths of despair and want to throw the baby out with the bath water.

So now when Zucc has accepted his likely fate, and his A-game is back, perhaps he can fix a 1st for the Rangers by the TDL? That would be nice, we want to remember the good things.

As opposed to? Resign Hayes the savior of all?

Plz. This team is so far from contending that Andersson will be an afterthought
