In my opinion, this puts pressure on Ekblad aspirations to ask for a big payday, we have options now.I’ll give Zito one thing, this guy has ice in his veins. I guess that’s what makes him one of the best GMs in the league. But it hurts my soul to lose Knight, I really liked him. I’ll be rooting for him in Chicago.
Do we let Ekblad go in free agency? Or Bennett? Or does Zito move someone at the draft to open up more cap space?
Sourdif is NHL ready imo, maybe he moves someone like Rodrigues or Lustorainen to free up more space?
Watch him score tonight, and then everyone on this board will love Jones for one day, that is how it is here.I agree, I actually think this will fastrack his development into a great starter.
Well, agility is always a problem for bigger players, but as for big D, I'd say he's the most agile in the league. I can't agree with your assessment. I mean is he Hughes, Makar, etc ? No, but he doesn't have to be. He's got range and is very skilled.
