Remember the Nash stuff, was always silly. Was the top winger on the market and everyone who is anyone mentioned that he’d get a 1st+

Vaguely remember the doubts that JG would make any trades but most of those were from people who ignored the letter and didn’t want to sell.

Most of the hysterics I remember came after the McDonagh Miller trade.

I feel like its silliness in hindsight is only dwarfed by the passion some people have when initially proclaiming it.

For the past 20 years you see people come and go, and it remains just as interesting to witness as ever.

Hearing stuff about Quinn thinking this team needs to be more physical.

Careful. The last time we headed into an offseason thinking we were too soft, we passed on Tarasenko and took McIlrath...

I’m curious as to the current opinion on Yamamoto now vs. the fawning I saw during the 2017 preseason? Like along the lines he was a better pick than Chytil, now not so much. What happened?

If nothing else, about 18 months of development and observation; which seems a reasonable amount of time for people to change their evaluations....

I personally just hope Clark is gone sooner then later. I'm just not really a fan of the guy. I think we have had more then a large enough sample size of him. He's the change I would make IMO.

We're gonna pick like 4th or 5th, draft Lavoie, parade him around as "our Tom Wilson," and then find out what Tom Wilson looks like not surrounded by multiple Hall of Famers.

Clearly.

The last 13 years have been horrid, dreadfully horrid. And those drafts have been absolutely brutal. No help there.

And don’t even get me started on the amateur free agent signings.

Simply. Dreadful.

I know it will be like passing on Wahlstrom all over again and not taking that Schroeder kid everyone loved back in 2009.

I just don’t think we can survive that again.

Or it might be taking Jessiman all over again. I guess we'll find out.

If theres anywhere in management that people would lose faith in without a doubt it is him. No-one could even argue otherwise. Guy is a disaster for the reasons above you have listed and more that i'm probably forgetting. Its past due time for some new blood in that capacity.

Can’t get him soon enough.
