A win for both. Chicago adds to their rebuild, and possibly gets a true #1 goalie. Florida adds to their Cup aspirations.
They’re not abusing the system. What does last year have to do with this? Stay on point lol
Just enjoy your new goalie, instead. You guys got a good oneI cannot wait until Seth does something galactically stupid in a not-too-distant future game 7.
He may need new skates, lol. It also happened in his last game for FL.A .976 save percentage to start his Blackhawks career. And there were a LOT of high danger chances given up in that first period. Like a lot even for this Hawks team.
Tried his hand at a goalie goal with an empty net for the kings, but puck got blocked within 10 feet of him. Also looked like he got hurt late in the third, but turned out that he just lost a skate blade.
Really great night for him though. Best goalie performance on the Hawks in recent memory. The team played good, relative to their standards, tonight too. After that abysmal 1st period at least.
If anything, Jones reduces their chances of winning the CupCats got fleeced here unless cats win a cup.
Didn't people say that about almost every Panthers defenseman before they landed in Florida? If anything, Jones reduces their chances of winning the Cup
The guy sucks ass
Good to see Cats use Seth on the PK but not PP.
Meh, don’t really care what he does from now on. Seems like a decent enough guy. Wish he played harder. See ya.I cannot wait until Seth does something galactically stupid in a not-too-distant future game 7.
Jones is a flawed defenseman.
You're welcome! I do wish Knight all the best - we will miss him and he's a gamer. So happy that he won his first game with you in such convincing fashion, and take care of him for us. And see if you can carry on our tradition of yelling "KNIGHT" during the anthem -that would be cool.Knight's one performance tonight bumped his season long save percentage from .907 all the way up to .912. He's played 24 games this season.
That save percentage would have him tied with Markstrom, Ullmark, and Comrie for 11th best in the league this season (minimum 10 games played).
Really appreciate Florida giving us our future starter.
That's exactly what I wanted to hear. We like our dmen to be flawed, unreliable, inconsistent, etc.
Felt like we could bring any flawed player into the system - Stalberg, Frolik, Oduya, Handzus, Rozival, Raanta, Darling - and our core and system would magically make studs out of them in their roles.
