Any GM that trades Fox in that crap Sens deal should be fired immediately. That is a hot garbage for a top 10 dman (arguably top 5).

Fox has elite hockey IQ. That is not easily replaced. Bern if skating were everything, you would have a point. However it's not; see Gauthier, Kapanen, John Moore, etc.

You tend to fall in love with big and fast, hence Kreider is your golden child. I agree those are admirable traits but that is NOT everything that makes up a player.

Please stop trying to trade our best defensemen. It's as ludicrous as it gets.
Will not stop
his elite IQ cannot jedi mind trick over his actual physical limitations
so far, these have been tolerable
but setting aside to what extent they do/do not get worse
in short order Fox will have nmc control

we cannot allow him or any other player to have this level of control going forward
fail to listen to me here and it will be ugly as this goes on

Nashville, TN.
The Rangers have a ton of cap space right now and I would love to add a player who has fallen out of favor elsewhere who is younger and on a longer term deal. Cozens and Josh Norris come to mind. If the cap rises ho we think, the money is a non-issue to me.
I went to the Anaheim boards last night just to see what their impressions of Trouba were. It seems like a lot of them see Mason McTavish kind of like how many Rangers fans see Kakko. If Anaheim management feels the same way as the fans (admittedly doubtful), that's a player I'd love to see Drury pursue.

It says his diet is customized and monitored by his coach. I wonder which coach.

Mika plays more like he's on one of those stupid caveman diets where you eat all protein and no carbs. The man has no energy out there. Get him a bunch of pasta and rice before the next game.

there is no reason to rush Kreider out the door, assuming end of the day he is worth moving and that is not a foregone conclusion

I also REALLY don't want Zib to win by pushing us to move CK to induce him
We are within our rights to play who we want
If the guy had McDavid level production and we did this, that would be one thing
He now sucks and that justifies us sitting him for as long as it takes to move him

I agree he is not an option for all 30 whatev teams
but we only need 1 trading partner

we have local close enuf Jersey and LI
and LA, VAN and maybe Nash

go there

I hate to break it to you bud but there is no "We". You are not a part of the New York Rangers management.

The Rangers suddenly are the league's most energetic team, measured in kilocals, Joe. Excuse me, kilo Joules. What's their secret?

I heard sautéed reindeer, Sam. Urho Vaakanainen introduced a family recipe to the team, I heard. Now the team has it as a pregame meal with a side of pasta or carbs. It's wonderful, I hear.

They left us out, Joe! We can't have that. We are ready to consume the reindeer!

It’s very clear that it’s a hand eye thing with Mika.

Even when he was at his peak he played the same way. It’s just he was able to steal pucks, win board battles, and had a killer shot- but all of that was stick work. He never used his frame, never used burning speed, never battled in front of the net.

It’s that his whole game was built around having amazing hand eye, and it’s been bad for years now. He isn’t stealing pucks in the neutral zone, he’s fumbling easy passes, and he can’t strike a moving puck.

I'm probably going to have "consumer the reindeer" in my head for the rest of the month.

So you suggest they trade every player that negotiates NMC in their deal, before it kicks in? Good luck with that.

Talking reindeer. It’s getting close to that time of year again. I have had reindeer as part of my staple on fine dining menus at many of the restaurants I have owned and managed the past 25 years. It’s a wonderful product but quite tricky to prepare and deal with. It needs to be at a certain level between rare and mR. I have worked with Icelandic, Swedish, Canadian, Finnish and Greenlandic “Rudolf’s”. All of them have both pluses and minuses but the Greenlandic stuff was out of this world. Until it got too expensive. Even for me. It was ok as carpaccio too, but maybe a bit too flamboyant. With some nice pickled chanterelles and fancy Bernardo Tesori reduction with crowberries, cloudberries and some shaved white truffles on top with sea salt flakes - I guess it might have worked… David Rockefeller Sr enjoyed it at least. Amongst many others.

Fire the Management. Now. The have lost it. I also think Laf, Vinny, Fox (Quicksand) and Mr rile eeh Smith (turnover Jedi) have played pretty awful so far. The Usual suspects need no formal introduction…

As you might have deducted, I just got off the p@*$y wagon and guzzled a bottle of Poilish rural white potato wine. This team, I tell ya, can kill those that even knows it’s coming. Holy Moly

If you are watching games and think Kreider is playing well and not having success ONLY because of Zib, you are more delusional that I've ever thought. I love Kreider but he's checked out and gives crap efforts every game at this point.
as usual

I notice that you regularly ha ha my posts

nice to see you at least attempt to step up and say something

that said, the use of "we" was in context, and more importantly, factually correct

we - the Rs - do only need 1 partner for any trade, including difficult one like zib

the other we reference, to geographical location "have local close enuf Jersey and LI" is also not erroneous

we all suggest moves for Rs mgt
so get off your hypocritical high horse

oh yeah, as to "seek help" -- PHYSICIAN HEAL THYSELF

If Fox was playing like he was prior to signing his new contract I would say he is untouchable. He is still brilliant in close quarter phone booth type hockey with the his puck skills.
For whatever reason there has been a consistent decline with his on ice impact for the Rangers to the point where I am not in favor of allowing a NMC to be exercised on a player whose reputation significantly outweighs their current performance. Sad really.
