Yeah. I quoted myself...

Tony isn’t long for this organization. The Rangers just need him to sign the one year contract and hope he picks up from where he left off last season. He plays well. The Rangers say nice things about him. Tony has really matured off the ice. Tony is great. Tony is our best D. Even if it’s not true, just keep saying it and some people will buy it.

The Rangers have Fox. The Rangers have Lundkvist. The Rangers gave Trouba $56 million.

Trade him for a nice return. Build up his value. Bought low. Sell high. Let another team worry about the long term contract. Good luck to them.

If anybody follows Fanly app? I can’t open it but the article title said that the Rangers game today is being streamed. Can anybody verify?

Or we can sign him and have a great RD for the forseeable future.

No?

It would never happen but who wouldn't want one of the best and most respected players of the era mentoring him?
Ok, but just so long as he’s wearing a suit and not a uniform. Guy cannot play anymore, and almost everyone realizes that by now.

Well no, I'm not saying he should play on the team. As much as a monster he is, a couple years from 50 he can't be in the NHL anymore haha.

I'll mark deAngelo as another player you hate and you'll be rooting against.

Sorry....was never a fan and would not want him near any prospect...just a personal opinion.

My incredibly scorching take is I would have signed Gardiner for that term and money and moved Skjei

Easily
Considering what Gardiner got, you're assuming someone would have taken Skjei. Given what we are seeing with all these RFA holdouts and capspace being at an absolute premium, I can't imagine we would have had much luck moving Skjei at the moment.
