One thing I'm really impressed with is Kravtsov's command of the English language. Igor and Panarin speak a little, but still need translators, so both might have to go to the young gun for translation...that is, assuming Namestnikov's not on the team.

Not sure why his credibility matters considering that there's zero chance the Rangers are trying to get Laine.

or kreider as long as hes here

I had to do the same thing, with the same dog (salt and pepper miniature schnauzer) on Sunday night. It has absolutely crushed my wife and I.

Sorry to hear that man. Losing pets is painful stuff. My family had a green cheek conure for 24 years before finally passing away in my hand.

Got a new little buddy a few weeks ago. Named him Yoshi. He’ll be 3 months old on Sunday.

Apparently there’s Patrik Laine trade discussions per Incarcerated Bob ( yes I know lol).
Laine has become so underrated on HFBoards. It’s hilarious reading which players certain fan bases aren’t willing to part with.

Panarin/Kakko/Kravtsov/Buchnevich/Kreider/Laine

Kravtsov grew up around a lot of influential people who speak English. You can really tell that it helped him. English isn't really taught in school outside of some major cities in Russia, yet he and his siblings speak English. Quite impressive.

You don’t think they’d want another Fin to help make it a nicer transition for Kakko?

The only thing transitioning in that case, is Laine transitioning back to hockey (I'd hope).

Isn't it kind of sad? If our defense wasn't crippled, we'd actually be a super dangerous team. Two more years guys.

Doesn’t Kravstov come from money in Russia? His family is wealthy. I remember reading that just after he was drafted by the Rangers.

Wasn't it Kravtsov's dad that was former FSB and hence denied access into the US until Vitaly got a permanent Visa or something (@Amazing Kreiderman)?

Kravstov had a buyout in his KHL contract last summer. I read his family would have no problem paying the buyout because they have the money but they decided it was best for him to play one more season in Russia.

The Russian oligarchs have the money in Russia. It would not be a stretch to suggest there are very powerful people in his family.
