Can we get Bran Stark to warg into Nash like he did with Hodor on Sunday night? That may be the only way to get Nash to play with a mean streak.

Go back to the Nash trade thread. While so many posters are declaring Nash to be the final piece of the puzzle for a team that just went to the ECF, some girl is in there saying she doesn't like the trade at all. And she's getting blasted by so many people who do not want to hear anyone disagree that Sather just pulled off a robbery of Columbus.

I hate that so far I'm the one who is right.

I think his regular season point production has been about on par with what I expected. 30+ goals (per 82) and 60+ points (per 82).

I have to admit, despite defending Nash at times, his inconsistent effort frustrates me. Sometimes it seems like he is disinterested, although I know that's not the case. He needs to play angry. When he plays well as he did earlier in the postseason but doesn't score, I can stomach the struggles. It's when he is invisible that gets me angry.

Congrats to you for being right, in your own estimation.

If you want to get even more depressed these are Dubi stats compared to Nash
GP G A PTS PIM PLAYOFFS GP G A PTS PIM
Dubi 105 18 52 70 174 6 1 5 6 6
NAsh 109 47 34 81 62 22 1 8 9 2

& in that trade Anisimov & a 1st rounder Kerby Rychel. BTW I like Nash .

I will be absolutely thrilled if Nash finds a way to prove me wrong. Nothing would be happier than people like you raining 'I told you so's' on me at the parade...

So Dubi has 30 less goals than Nash. Anisimov was always inconsistent I liked him a lot but he was an enigma. Erixon looks like a bust of sorts or at least is taking awhile to develop, and Rychel was no guarantee if we were picking there we may have taken someone else of similar, more, or less potential.

I wouldn't rain any I told you so's. I would be too busy chugging champagne! Let's just hope he can turn it around.

It's definitely frustrating to see a train coming right for you a mile away, but have everyone insisting it's not a train at all and that you stay right where you are because it's actually a particularly good spot to not get hit by a train, only to then get run over by the very train you saw coming all along.

I was/am in that same boat.

I was so happy with Nash last year.

We'd be better off scratching him this year's playoffs. Yeah, he's taken hits to the head, but a scared hockey player is damn useless. I'd honestly be fine if he was shipped out for nothing but a pick. Just get him the **** off the team.

I don't know if I would call this a train wreck. We haven't even completed two full seasons. His playoff performance has been underwhelming, I'm not happy with it, but let's stop with the self-praising, "I was mocked and I hate being right." Being right is subjective, unless it's numbers or facts based. For example, "The Rangers will not win the Cup" - and they don't win the Cup. Then you'd be right. "Nash won't score more at all in the 2014 playoffs." - then you'd be right. Saying "this trade will not work out" - and then not even two full seasons later, claiming you're right when he has averaged 35 goals per 82 games, is a bit much.

That being said, I'd like to see more effort from Nash. I want him to feel responsible for the past 2 games and bury one tonight.

Buy him out.

Honestly, I think some bottom feeder would take him (mainly Florida, maybe Nashville).

I'm really starting to think we should buy out Nash instead of Richards, though, if it came down to it...but I really think there is somewhat or a market for Nash, even if it's just for a trash heap.

hey, look on the bright side. nash is helping us keep our first round pick this year!

NMC he won't waive, only option is buyout

He's getting booed publicly now. It was loud and obvious when he was skating with the puck. Once you lose the crowd, its pretty tough to get it back. Hopefully after next season of getting booed he's looking to waive that NMC...

Florida man. New owner looking to spend. He can make his money, float all he wants, work on his tan and not ever play a meaningful game again in his career. And chill with Luongo.
