He's getting booed publicly now. It was loud and obvious when he was skating with the puck. Once you lose the crowd, its pretty tough to get it back. Hopefully after next season of getting booed he's looking to waive that NMC...

Hopefully we start hearing chants of "we don't want you" again.

Hopefully he gets booed more and more, and maybe he'll finally realize he's not gonna score on wristers from the blueline and that he's gonna have to take some slashes and checks on the way to the net before tucking one in

Great game tonight.

Consistent effort and hustle from him. Glad we got rid of Dubi and Artie for him.

...:shakehead

Lol I thought he played a pretty strong game though admittedly the turnover was really bad. Would rather trade almost anyone on the team instead of him.

I can't think of one GM who would think about acquiring Nash.

Only a Clarkson for Nash swap, but Nash would never ever approve to play in Toronto

I have nothing constructive to add to this conversion except that I found the "we don't want you" avatar that us Nash "haters" used before the trade.

Oh, we'd have to add on to any foreseeable Nash trade. There's no question about it.

It's amazing how many player reputations get destroyed here.

Redden, Gomez, Drury, Frolov, Kamensky, Fleury, MSL, Nash, Richards, Holik

These guys terrorized the Rangers wearing other jerseys.

People bash the way 1994 gets rammed down our throats, but the truth is we aren't ever going to see a season like that again.

Ever.

That goal in the 2nd when the game was tied 1-1 was all Rick Nash's fault. He makes a terrible pass lifting the puck in the air as if he was throwing up a prayer...then as the last defenseman he proceeds to skate forward as if he just made the best pass in the world and there would never be a turnover. Total idiot. And anyone who thinks Nash played ok or is the least of this team's problems doesn't know jack about hockey. He is the go-to guy, the star player. He gets paid to be. Crosby and Malkin showed up in this series. And even when they didn't score, they made things happen. Nash barely looks like he is moving his legs out there ever. He is just gliding hoping a bad bounce comes to him with open space. He is a pansy. Too afraid to drive to the net. He enters the zone and does that spin-o-rams **** as if it works every time...except it doesn't. He is a pathetic, pathetic, pathetic hockey player. It is downright sad watching him play.

Gaborik got booed at MSG during the playoffs in 2011 and came back just fine the next year.

I hope I don't see Rick Nash in a Rangers jersey next year though. I've defended him a ton but I can't do it anymore. I really can't.

All of this for the most part is a myth.
Redden - was considered in decline and a horrendous signing immediately when he signed the deal and before he ever played a game.

Gomez - Was good while here. Had a 70 points season and then a 58 point season. Nothing too far off his career.

Drury - His first two years here were also in line with the rest of his career (overpaid due to two huge years post-lockout with insanely high shooting %)

Frolov - Never was really considered a star but yea this was a bust but I mean we signed him for 1 year 3 million..

Kamensky - Disappointment

Fleury - Was really good for us so I'm not sure what the issue is here

MSL - No clue what's going on here. He was great in TB this year and has come here and not looked the same at all. I have confidence he'll get back to that player

Nash - was great his first year here disappointing this year but still was a top goal scorer and had some injury issues.

Richards - Very disappointing. Even his first year which was "good" was way worse than anything he'd done before.

Holik - Was fine. Overpaid and unrealistic expectations. He was almost the same player here he was in NJ.
