Really wanting Gaborik back.... :cry::cry:

PS- Never wanted Nash even when the rumors were swirling. CBJ won that trade by a mile.

Say what you want but Dubi's performance vs. the Pens is miles above what Nash has done this round.

Nash's failure has really brought out the Dubi lovers. I have a Dubinsky Winter Classic jersey (he was traded shortly after, like months later, I definitely jinxed him) but he is no longer a Ranger. I won't live the rest of my life comparing their careers.

just my 2 cents...but booing your own players at home is the stupidest thing i see...i have zero respect for fans that do that.

none.

It still annoys me that a guy who gets paid that much couldn't even hit 40 points this year (yes only 65 games but given that cap hit...).. Your highest paid guys need to be the best players and set an example for the others. Nash does not lead.

Please. They're making millions to score goals, and they aren't when we need it the most.

dont care. its a ********* thing to do. go cheer for the habs if thats what you want.

its counterproductive, and just plain idiotic. who plays better when they are getting booed? anyone?

so how are you helping your team?

YOU arent there for the team when they need YOU the most when you start booing the players.

They can make it stop by stepping it the **** up and putting the puck in the net. MSL hasn't scored in 8 games. Nash hasn't score a single goal. That isn't acceptable, and their effort level is just not making up for it.

I'm not disagreeing with anything you are saying regarding their performance...but if you seroiusly think booing helps their confidence at all...has any impact on the game in a positive way that helps them reverse all those things, then youre delusional.

nobody will ever convince me that booing your team at home is ok to do. i wouldnt boo tom poti on his worst night, id never boo our guys.

ultimately, its your money, and you can do whatever the heck you want to do. doesnt stop me from thinking the people who boo are fraking morons.

I don't think it has a positive effect...but I do think it's perfectly justifiable. They've earned it.

Blue Jackets were trailing 4-0 on home ice in an elimination game and the fans were standing in unison cheering for their team. Foligno said the fans were unbelievable and it gave the players a spark. Sometimes you need that sixth man who's just gonna support you no matter what.

That team earned their applause, despite being down 4-0...it's a totally different situation. Columbus has not had a team like that in years, and they had finally won a few playoff games as well. They're also the hardest working team in the league, IMO. The Rangers...aren't.

what bothered me the most is once the fans started to boo nash he took the puck flying down the entire right wing with probably the most speed ive seen him use since becoming a ranger. it is almost as if he doesnt give a **** until people don't like him... think about it when he was selected to team canada everyone was talking about how he shouldn't have made it and giroux should have then he goes on a extremely hot streak, he goes back to columbus and everyone hates him, leads to most effort and tenacity he has played with in career. seems like he has to be hated for him to actually try and prove people wrong...

my suggestion boo him nightly and see if tht lights a fire under his ass

Oh the poor babies getting booed. My heart goes out to them.

Do your job, you won't get booed. Simple as that. Fans have no obligation to cheer for a ****** product. If fans want to voice their displeasure, I see nothing wrong with that when they're paying to be there. If I was getting booed and heckled at my job, my first reaction would be "Ok, what can I do to stop this" and then do that.

Booing may not help..neither does not scoring once. Even when being cheered for.

Eh, I get booing a team's collective effort on the ice. Never understood the need to boo an individual player, though.

This just isnt good enough. When he did the starfish buttskate last night on the 2 on 2 rush i nearly lost my ****. What is he doing

It really is the only place fans can publicly show they are not happy with the team or certain players. How else are we suppose to get that across to the player? coach? gm? fan base?

you can no longer bring in signs to the garden, I saw a few people get them taken away.

It's not like MSG is gonna come interview us either.

No issues with booing a team or player that deserves it. If we sit in our seats and what? clap? do nothing? how else are they going to know we won't accept this BS anymore other than doing what Met fans have been doing and not attending games/season tickets?

Its also not like I can fire Nash or put him on probation like you can do at any other working job. So booo him and boo him loudly. Score and he'll get 20k roaring for him. Deleiver a cup and he comes a god like Messier.

Nash should have been booed off the ice and out of this city a long time ago. I won't be crying if Nash and Stepan are both sent packing out of NY in the right deals. This team needs more players like Kreider and Miller, less like Stepan and Nash. Miller has an ego problem and needs to be more focused off the ice but he plays to win and plays with confidence. Nash and Stepan are clowns who have no clue what playoff intensity means.

It's called accountability. The fans supported the team last night. They tried to cheer the rangers back to life after both the first and second goals the penguins scored last night. I know because I was in attendance.

What do you suppose fans do, just start a "you are all winners" chant to grown men? I will never boo the entire team because I root for the entire team. I have no problem booing underperforming for 2 years straight players like Rick Nash.

Sure let's keep killing Nash to ensure he loathes playing for us and never develops into a playoff performer....

Ahole fans are ensuring all outside talent will dread coming here.

Way to go.

And if it doesn't, maybe he asks to be traded, and we can extricate ourselves from that loser before 2018

Rick Nash doesn't have what it takes to be a playoff performer. He's a perimeter player with no heart. I'm not even sure he enjoys playing the sport. Seems more like he does it because he has enough talent to make decent money at it, but has no real love of the game.
