RD Bode Wilde (2018, 41st, NYI)

Don’t forget about Pivonka. That’s a Trotz player if there ever is one (even if he never plays for him).
That's the one pick I was not that crazy about. Didn't like his numbers. I'm ecstatic over the rest of our draft though

He was playing 4th line on the best junior team in the world that will have many good NHL'ers from it.

His numbers don't matter, and thats not where he will find his most value. He's a grinder type of hockey player. He's not going to be more than a bottom 6 guy. Pivonka might not be any better than a 4th liner, but I think there's a pretty good chance he'll be good in that role. He is excellent defensively, good on face-offs, smart player, skates well, and can chip in offensively.

I like the sound of this :) reminds me of a certain Casey Cizikas

HE'S BAAAAACCCCCKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!

Welcome back kid - he was very evident out there, didn't look hesitant from what I saw coming back from injury...he also won a faceoff tonight as well!! lol....

Good to see him back out there.

Glad to hear!! Any word on what his injury was?

He might be a better prospect than both of those guys. I had Wilde higher than Dobson and Wahlstrom for most of last season. After his bad WJC-18, I put Dobson one slot higher than Wilde on my final list, although I did have Wilde a number of spots higher than Wahlstrom. I think he was always the most talented of those three Isles picks. If all of them pan out, I think Wilde would be the best hockey player of the three.

Is Dobson having an awful start? Most of the people who have watched him say he's been good playing big minutes, but his team is a trainwreck.
His +/- is abysmal. Not the most noteworthy stat, especially when you play for a bad team, but still, its pretty "awful" looking when youre like -20
