This what I think it should be with the current players they have.

I think you got the forwards down, but you're a little too harsh on the defence and not harsh enough on the goalies.

obviously this will change based on who we resign the off-season but based on this playoffs roster...

Lucic (85) Krejci (86) Iginla (85)
Marchand ( 84) Bergeron (89) Smith (83)
Kelly (81) Soderberg (83) Ericksson ( 83)
Paille (80) Campbell (77) Thornton (74)
Spooner (77)

Chara ( 89) Seidenberg (86)
Hamilton ( 85) Boychuk (85)
Krug ( 82) Miller (78)
McQuaid ( 78)

Rask (90)
Johnson (83)

Mostly agree. I think Marchy is still 85-86, Chara 91+, Seids 87, McQuaid probably keeps his 81. Lucic might get 86. I'd give Kelly 77 but he'll be in the 80s.

I for one would appreciate the game a little more if they stretched the average 4th liner to low 70's. This would give more seperation between the best and the good enough.

Don't really want every player to feel like minimal difference between others. I swear other than Datsyuk or Zetterberg(and Helm for his ridiculous speed), most players on Detroit felt like they played the same.

Was actually thinking of this the other day for the :avs

tough to tell with a lot of them, as a lot of them are having really strong if not career years.

Assuming no player hits a cold streak or a hot streak between now and seasons end, this is what I see for the Avs next season.

Oreilly(86) - Duchene(89) - McGinn(81)
Landeskog(86) - Stastny(85) - Tanguay(83)
Talbot(81) - Mackinnon(85) - Paranteau(82)
Bordeleau(75) - Mitchell(79) - McCleod(75)
Cliche(75)

Hejda(82) - EJ(85)
Benoit(78) - Barrie(84)
Holden(80) - Guenin(76)
Wilson(75) - Elliott(77)

Varlamov(87)
Berra(77)

Prospects:

Hishon(75, 4* Red)
Siemens(73, 3.5* Yellow)
Bigras(68, 4* Yellow)

Updated ratings IMO for the Avs. Landeskog and ROR both bump up to an 87 and 86 respectively after ~65 point seasons for each. Both guys will be solid all around players, Landy wil lget the slight edge because of his physicality. Duchene becomes a legitimate star in game after a PPG season, and a good(albeit brief) playoff showing. Paranteau drops after a lackluster season. Barrie gets a nice increase in both rating and potential after a big breakout season. Mack jumps in both overall and potential as well(Maybe 5* Yellow potential?).

Varlamov gets the biggest increase after a Vezina nomination, and an extremely impressive season.

I wish they'd go back to the days when 90% of a team didn't consist of 80+ players. A player with 80 should be a low tier 2nd liner/good 3rd liner, or a decent #4 defenseman imo.
