I’m really jazzed up at how Kakko is playing.
I told everyone to give the kids a chance, don't be so fast to trade Chytil.
Give Hajek, Gauthier etc., mins,
Deal the vets who we can't afford long term anyway.
who wants to admit I was right?
They basically are avoiding having Kakko tied up on the transition by doing this, as well. In the offensive zone he is playing third man high. There were a few shifts in the first period where Kakko basically ended up playing center in the D zone. He was down low stopping the Devils forecheck, while Strome and Kreids were at the wing positions. And Kakko was very effective down there. With his size, strength and stick it was like have a 3rd D man. I don't know if that was purposeful or accidental, but it definitely allows Strome to play more to his strength to make that switch in the D zone. I wonder if they will make that a more purposeful choice going forward.
Petition for our Victory Song
I don't know why I cant stop watching it.. Bollywood hits different
That's actually good on Giannone. Quick thinkingI’m sure it got discussed in the game thread but what an awkward interaction Giannone gave us during this game
Vally: “John are you a betting man?”
Giannone: “I DO NOT bet on sports games”
Sheesh
Loving the young guys. Happy for Hajek. He better stay in the lineup when Trouba comes back. Thought that Howden and Lemieux had good games for a change which is important because Gauthier needs to be given a regular shift to see what he can do. When Bread gets back, our top 9 s/b
Bread Mika Buch
Kreids Strome KK
Laf Fil Gaut
Then I think PDG and Blackwell are the odd men out to start. Then 48, 21 and 17 have to play well or they can easily be scratched.
It’s going to be stuck in your head all dayNGL I'm pretty pumped after watching this though I did not understand a single word of it.
Georgiev actually had a good second period.
the rest of the game? He was awful. Like laughably awful.

It would be stupid to sit Gauthier when Panarin is back...which of course is what will happen.hes really looked good with Chytil and should stay there on his wing
Oh I heard alright. It sounds like someone who has a lot to discuss with the misses after Casino Night. Or any trip near Vegas or AC for that matter.I’m sure it got discussed in the game thread but what an awkward interaction Giannone gave us during this game
