According to Flahr, Sami has been working with Tuomaala.
(Flyers development coach) Sami Kapanen spends a lot of time with him, and is trying to get through to him the way he has to play. In junior … he’s a strong kid, he can fly and he can really shoot the puck. Unfortunately, when you get to the pro level, there’s things you have to do as far as managing the puck, and expectations away from the puck where he needs to get to. Especially in Finnish hockey, the details are very good, which helps for development.
But he wasn’t getting it, and obviously it impacted his ice time. So Sami had him get (sent) down (to Mestis) and he’s producing now, he’s showing a little more confidence and getting his game going in the right direction. But he’s got a ways to go to earn that trust every night and be up. At the same time, we just want him to play, and play lots of minutes here down the stretch and hopefully get his game back to where it needs to be and reset for next year.

Luckily there's not much to ruin there, thanks to Fletchers horrible drafting.Oh no. The Flyers are trying to get through to him about how to play? His career is ruined already. Hopefully he ignores them.
Plus a goal.Desnoyer not in again tonight. Anyone have an update?

Tippett has played LW and would be the most likely to move.Curious question:
Three assumptions, Cam Atkinson is somehow back for 23-24 season and idiot F^&*%$ does not trade Konecny but does idiotically resign MacEwen who are out at RW of the seven below for next season?
1. ATkinson
2. Konecny
3. Tippett
4. Allison
5. MacEwen
6. Foerster
7. Brink
And if I left anyone out sorry!
And can anyone of the above legitimately move to LW?
Can't find anything else other than this
The Hutson production is wild. Would’ve never guessed he’d be the best producer of that team in his freshman year.Lol.

Lucius is having a great year on a shitty Wisconsin team too (Carolina 4th rounder ofc). He was in that Kaplan boat for me last year. Depth guy that kind of got buried by those top two US lines last year.

Atkinson should be 100% with almost a year to heal after shoulder surgery, and a year off may revive his legs.
MacEwen is the odd man out, Allison/Foerster would be most likely to be moved to the 4th line, both are as big as MacEwen and can be just as physical but far more skilled, TK, Atkinson and Brink are going to be on offense first lines. Brink would be the one you'd match up with Cates, Laughton or Gauthier at center, since he could be the primary playmaker for those three.
Farabee - Couts - TK
Tippett - Frost - Atkinson
Laughton - Cates - Brink
Lycksell - Laczynski - Allison/Foerster
If Gauthier comes out, you could move Cates/Laughton to 4C. They might try Allison or Foerster at LW to get them both in the lineup.
He is perfect as a 13th forward come in and give the team a boost. Damn dlo is one that's hard to get rid of.MacEwen is the living embodiment of what the people running the team think fits a fourth line "energy" role. He is not an odd man out until everyone is fired.

Despite what flahr said Foerster should be in the NHL next season even if it's in a fourth line role.
ZMac has played 121 games over the past two seasons - 4th most on the team. That's not a 13th forward. He is perfect as a 13th forward come in and give the team a boost. Damn dlo is one that's hard to get rid of.

Yes it is once you look at the string of injuries the past two years.ZMac has played 121 games over the past two seasons - 4th most on the team. That's not a 13th forward.
I have learned to just ignore him most of the time . Have had things typed out several times , then thought what's the point and then just hit delete . It's easier that way .MacEwen is the living embodiment of what the people running the team think fits a fourth line "energy" role. He is not an odd man out until everyone is fired.
Allison is starting to get back after the long layoff from injury but there's only so low in the lineup I'd play brink. Waste of talent otherwiseI'd not give a shit about him if he was used as a benchrider to only play until a callup arrives but the team doesn't work that way.
Atkinson missing the season skews things. Foerster has gotten better away from the puck enough that I would feel comfortable pushing macewen down for him at this point.ZMac has played 121 games over the past two seasons - 4th most on the team. That's not a 13th forward.
