Here’s a list of guys who didn’t score 20 goals.

Close enough that they'd get there with a few lucky bounces.

I don't think Attard would score 20 goals year in and year out, but if he plays on a regular basis, he could get 12-15 on a regular basis and have that one year the Hockey Gods smiled upon him.

Provorov had 17 and 13, and I don't think he shoots as well as Attard.
Ghost had 17 in 64 games, as well as 13 and 14.
Sanheim's career high is 9, which isn't surprising, he's not a great shooter, more of a skater and puck carrier.

Attard doesn’t have 20 NHL games at age 24. He might not even be an NHL defenseman. You say “unique”; I say possibly non-cohesive skill set.
