Not so sure about that. I don't think they're willing to make that big of a gamble with the left side.

Feels like we're gonna lose someone that we will regret losing but so it goes I guess. Unless they decide to send Smith down but man he looks like he belongs.

I don't really see it as much of a gamble. They pretty clearly don't like his player type as far as I can tell and he's noticeably regressed from what he was a few years ago.

Poehling with a hell of a pass to Rakell after winning a board battle and getting demolished. I think I'd like the bottom-6 more if it was Heinen-Blueger-Carter and McGinn-Poehling-Archibald.

Yeah I'm honestly thinking Kapanen is just shot at this point. I don't think he looks better than he did last year.

They definitely don't seem to. I feel like he's got Dumoulin type potential though to be that kind of big/mobile defensive d with slight offensive upside.

I'd probably rather not have Kapanen in there based on what I've seen so far from him.

If we're pushing Archibald out, I'd probably suggest O'Connor go in and make the 4th line O'Connor-Poehling-McGinn. Which is actually what I imagine the 4th line will be next season.

Kapanen looks like Konstantin Koltzov out there. Just skates really fast and doesn't really do anything beyond that.

L1 just makes goalies move laterally so much. Hard to have those random brick wall nights from bad goalies if he can't get across.
All 3 goals are like that tonight.

he looks decent, skating so far well, L2 had a ton of possession, nice give and go with Smith, one thing I notice he skates back to the blue line immediately if the puck is fifty fifty, than i=he is late to support Rust or Zucker if they win the puck...

I think a lot of people thought he could be a store brand version of Phil because he’s relatively quick and has a decent wrister. And they may have been at least somewhat right if Kapanens game had actually progressed, but it never did.

Audience expects Dog to jump towards family...
Dog instead runs past them, onto the table and goes ham on the pizza on the table, eating all of it.
