This is the same thing that happened with crosby. People have chronic headaches so they assume its a concussion, but its actually the neck sending pain to the head which is why he said it's not a concussion and more complicated than that.

My bad.

I have this condition (or a version of it, mine is a bit exotic. When we did the MRIs the consulting neurosurgeon was visibly excited because of how weird the findings were that's never good.). But my neck is f***ed from submission wrestling and BJJ.

It sucks. I got it under control, training within my limits, but it absolutely sucks.

He is playing well right now but I remember that Beauvillier played well after he was traded. Claims on how we are set ont he wings with him and Kuzmenko were abundant here at the end of the 2022/2023 season. Let's see if he can stay healthy and how he will play over a longer period of time.

Yup, every time he takes it into traffic or takes a bump I cringe lol. I thought for sure he was done for the night when he took that stick in the face.

I like how people are proclaiming he'll overtake Pettersson in this thread lol. He's had a promising start, but guy has played around 15 minutes a game and hasn't finished a season. Skates with his head down. I know Pettersson continues to play like trash, but get back to me when Chytil finishes a season and finishes anywhere close to the 16% shooting Petey is doing for his career, which is elite (via Statmuse).

I think it also depends on what causes the headaches or increase in frequency or severity of headaches in the first place. Was it a hit to the head? Whiplash? You can be diagnosed with a concussion from whiplash. Then there’s the question of whether it matters all that much as a fan is the player is suffering from concussion-like symptoms. Cervinogenic headaches are common for sure though.

Frankly I'm not as his skillset is the type that seems exciting when he is a prospect and at some point you realize that he can't dominate nor ahs the elite skills, hands, IQ to be a really good top 6 center in the NHL but rather is just a guy waiting to be replaced in that role.

There were many games where he was our best center (our true #1) without it being recognized with more minutes or a PP opportunity.

Again, I think he’s a true top 6 nhl center. More fit for that responsibility than Zibanejad at this stage, despite what the minutes showed.

Like I said before those are my impressions and I hope that I'm wrong as the Canucks don't have anyone else.
