He’s just as culpable as everyone else for the shit show of this season, in December there were games the team was playing fine and he’d let in 3 stoppable goals.

He’s an average goalie with potential for stretches of elite play. He’s not a consistently elite goalie.

Igor is good because he's Russian.

This entire season belongs on the scrap heap…..
I get the miller trade for what they gave up for him…( coming from a guy that didn’t want him back btw)
It’s not a bad deal… mancinni will likely never be more then a 3rd pair/mid pair guy…
The 1st is top 13 protected… not a shot this team is this bad next season….
Miller and Trochek friendship is key to bringing miller back…. If miller isn’t traded from NY, who knows if he develops into the player he is now?
He’s older, more mature, married/kids, etc… a stable vet pro playing a position and a type of game we need more of… he’s been great and I think the closeness with Tro is great for his particular environment and switching the culture in this locker room/team for next year….
Imo, they should still be sellers at the TDL….
Move Lindgren/Kreider/and KAM for assets…. With cap going up and only 1 more year of bread, they are going to add in FA, sure as I’m sitting here…
Their PP has been Top 5 pretty much the last 5 seasons. This year, they are 18….
The PK isn’t as good, guys aren’t producing as per usual, and some are historically/career bad for lows right now.
Next year, I expect a better start and more consistency…
They also won’t have a Trouba/Goodrow cause celebra that marred the offseason and thru the 1st quarter of the year.
More changes should be needed/coming… their are some guys that need to go to change the guard and reset the leadership/locker room
