Possibly but Marchessault is turning 34 next season and Vegas usually dumps guys before they go over the hill. They also need to sign Dorofeywv as he is a rfa.

Seeing the complete mediocrity of the Isles, Pens, Flyers and Wings fighting for two playoff spots makes me think the Habs are closer to getting back in the playoffs than I thought.

Sid could be 40 years old and half as good as he is now and I would still be happy to have him here at $8.7 million to play here for his childhood team. It's like a dream of mine that hurts to know it will never happen.

Seeing the complete mediocrity of the Isles, Pens, Flyers and Wings fighting for two playoff spots makes me think the Habs are closer to getting back in the playoffs than I thought.

Habs could have been in that same mix if Dach was healthy. I legitimately think that.
