How in gods name does Atlanta get a 3rd crack at an NHL team after the last 2 failures?

This 'you hate em just cus you ain't em' attitude is silly. I'll happily blame both of them. This is obviously breaking the rules and Vegas doesn't get a pass just because other teams can be cheaters if they try hard enough
The west is just too strong. I feel like there's 6 serious cup contenders. Meanwhile there's Florida and maybe Carolina and Tampa as contenders ?

The Bolts had won a cup with a team that was like 18 million over the cap and they got far less shit than the Knights who I believe were cap compliant with their game 5 SCF lineup. I'm also not buying this "let's shut down our best player to get an advantage in the playoffs" mentality when they almost missed it. Not to mention that players will put up with their injuries more in the playoffs. Look at Price and Weber who killed their careers playing through injuries in the finals run. Players won't put themselves through hell to get back and play meaningless regular-season games.
I only recently learned that a team is not obligated to return a player to the active roster when healthy. Only to ensure that they are cap compliant when they do move the player off LTIR.
To me that's wild and not widely known.
The guy is one of the better forwards in the league that nobody talks about. When the Yotes pull the goalie, he just turns into a monster and dominates the game. I would have loved to trade for him in the offseason but I doubt he's going anywhere with the relocation and new owner.
Florida can still be at a very good advantage with the Western teams beating the crap out of each other.
Hes excellent, on a top offensive team he's flirting with 90-100 points. He sure plays like a 100 points forward.
