I hate the way Kadri's defensive game gets crapped on Steven Stamkos say's you should work on your weakness' 20% and your strengths 80% because your strengths are what make you stand out. No one really cares that Kessel is a coward atleast Naz will give and take a hit. Let him centre Lups and Kessel, What have we got to lose if its successful were going places if not were still where we started but atleast we tried. This shortened season should be used to blood the kids and try a few experiments, you don't know unless you try

Cybulski is really trying to get him to say something stupid...

"Do you feel that they are holding you back, trying to make you something you're not?"

"I mean you're an offensive dynamite, why not just let you be free, right?"

This guy is a tool. He is blatantly trying to get Kadri to say he is unhappy with the necessary steps it takes to adapt to the NHL.

Called Leaf fans bandwagoners lol:laugh:

Man people really have bad listening comprehension, he said no such thing.

When asked his view on the Toronto fans and media...
He said when you're doing well, people tend to support you and pump your tires, but when things aren't going well comes the criticism and scrutiny, and people jump bandwagons.

- 1 training camp game isn't enough to be overwhelmed about
- wants to prove people wrong about defensive deficiencies
- Roberts helped him with leg strength in the summer
- lupul is someone that kadri can go to for advice
- both him and Roberts were upset about being called out for poor conditioning
- hardest part about being in Toronto is everyone trying to put their 2 cents in when it is completely unnecessary

Absolutely ridiculous. It's one thing to throw big expectations on a kid and add undue pressure but to try to coax a kid to say something negative about how he has been developed is equatable to tabloid reporting.

He handled that interview extremely well. Considering Cybulski was trying so hard to get him to slip.

Good interview. Cybulski did well.

Key point for me?

Kadri, paraphrased - "I totally buy into Randy's system 100%. But I want to also bring my offensive capabilities to the team".

I loved that he didn't go for the politically correct answer about staying up. Said he really wants to stay. Love the attitude.

Poor guy sounded a little down. You can tell he's nervous about the camp and selection process. I don't think he can handle another cut. Great ******* guy.
