Besides maybe the hawks and Cavs there isn't one team I wouldn't trade our roster for.
Well considering we are dead last in the NBA how can that be wrong except we do have Zinger and a top draft pick coming up. Knox is also going to be a star, Rob is going to be excellent, and it takes years to change the culture. Knicks are losing on purpose this season, you can't judge too much because of that

I don't disagree with a lot of the criticism, but this is the direction it needs to go. They're finally rebuilding and people are *****ing and moaning, KP included. The only way to go in this league is cut cap space for a max contract, and suck to get high picks. You can turn it around quick if you're smart about it.

you're also spending subsequent posts raving about Dennis Smith and calling the whole Knicks roster garbage. Ain't much of a difference between DSJ, Mudiay and Trier, fella. Hate to break it to you.

Right? I live in Chicago and watching the Knicks actually rebuild has been a delight compared to the shit show of an FO here. I’ll start freaking out about KP when he goes out & signs a 3+1 instead of a 5 year deal.

Porzingis is such an overrated player. Too bad Phil wasn't able to complete a trade in June 2017 to get him & his pain in the ass brother out of here. KP wants clarity on the direction of the franchise. How about some clarity on his health? He should be worried about getting healthy. He is always hurt. Full of drama. He skips the exit meeting with Jackson. Entitlement. He has done nothing in his career.

He wants to be traded. If another team wants him and offers up a quality return for a player with a torn ACL, get him out of here.

As celebrated as Porzingis was in New York before the injury—feted with such nicknames as Porzingod and Unicorn for a meteoric rise to All-Star status in his third year before injuring his left knee—several opposing executives and scouts questioned whether he's physically capable of carrying the load of a franchise cornerstone. One scout even derisively compared him to Davis as a big man loaded with talent and potential but unable to stay healthy. "Done nothing and anointed a star," the scout said.

He was always hurt before the torn ACL.

And now, after yet another uneven performance against the Bulls—one in which Porzingis logged 44 minutes of playing time—perhaps it’s time to reckon with the question Hall posed a year ago. Since 2015, Porzingis has suffered the following injuries to his right leg: sore hip, sprained ankle, sore foot, and “inflammation to the bone and tendon” of his knee. The list is longer for left-leg injuries: sore Achilles, sore knee, sprained ankle, sore groin, strained quad, and bruised thigh. He’s also battled lower-back tightness and a right-shoulder strain, and he has a right-elbow problem that might require surgery. Porzingis was diagnosed with anemia in 2010. He has missed games in all three NBA seasons for illnesses, including an upper-respiratory infection and three separate stomach flus.

Is Kristaps Porzingis Built to Carry the Knicks on His Shoulders?

Now they're saying he's asking for a trade...

Infuriating. Knicks finally seem to be on a good path, doing exactly what I'd like them to do this season - take advantage of KP's injury and tank for a top pick. (yes duh it sucks we're finally doing it when the odds change but whatever) We're playing the young kids and hopefully going to free up some cap space for a big signing and now this...

Honestly, what is he thinking? Why wouldn't you wait until after the off-season to see what Perry actually does before doing this? He's an RFA so not really any leverage. Not to mention he hasn't even carried the team to the playoffs (in the East) since he's been here. And he's coming off a serious injury that caused him to miss an entire season and which no one yet knows if it will affect his game.

Is he this upset they didn't offer him the extension while he's injured? If he wants the team to build a winner around him is it not blatantly obvious it would be easier to do that if he waits till next season to sign the extension? I don't understand what advice he is getting or who exactly he thinks he is at this point.

It seemed like we were reaching a near universal agreement amongst fans and media that the knicks seemed to finally be on the right track and then somehow KP develops the exact opposite mindset? He must be reading the dumbest of the Knicks media writers...

I mean, Porzingis isn't wrong, but try staying healthy for an entire season before bitching and moaning.

I'd trade him to the highest bidder. Goodbye.

He has zero leverage. His choices this offseason are sign a max deal with the Knicks for 5 years, $158m contract. Accept a 1 year $4.5m contract elsewhere with zero guaranteed beyond that.

150m or 5m off a torn ACL?

I'm not completely opposed to trading him. But what is a realistic return that makes it worth it? Centerpiece for Davis for me. But some of the teams floated as interested? You can keep 2 picks in the mid 20s and a prospect type deal. Not for me.

He and his brother are jokes.

How about you stay healthy for once and actually prove yourself for more than 10 games? Before you start making demands.

He feeling himself way too much.

He's not overrated. He averaged 22ppg and 2.5 blocks and shot basically 40% from 3. Last year.

He's just not fully proven and thinks he's a top 10 player.

Holy ****. They're packaging him with THJ and Lee to get rid of their contracts, to Dallas for DSJ.
This creates cap space they can offer to a marque FA who will promptly laugh and hang up the phone. Then the money will be spent ridiculously overpaying dogshit trashboat piles of complete suck.
