Porzingis is taking the QO with the Mavs. Which means he will be a UFA next year.
Looks like he may have told the Knicks the same. So they traded him.

All this tells me is that he has a team or two he wants to go to.

I can't believe you're convincing yourself of this. Absolute delusions.
 
It's scary that there is a week before the deadline, and the Knicks were like, we must get this done right now!

Was Dallas really going to pull this nothing offer off the table next week?

See what else is out there.
 
So glad I haven’t been too invested in this team since KP’s rookie season. I’ll see where they stand in 4-5 years and see if they’re ready for another date then.

Knicks coach: “why is everyone so up in arms... we’re gonna lose MORE??? *chuckle*”

Dallas said take it or leave it last chance I promise cross my heart, and Knicks of course believed them lol

It's already being reported that he's taking the QO with the Mavs. So he has no intentions on staying there either.

This allows him to be UFA summer 2020.

Edit. Woj is reporting he hasn't made up his mind yet. lol
Sure after it's already been reported he's taking the QO. People have already figured his plans out. Doubled down a bit.
 
If they sign Durant and another max FA that is the only way it'll be worth it.

Otherwise this is worse than Hall for Larsson.

I would be surprised if he only signs the QO with Dallas. Great city, rookie of the year star player, no state tax, owner who wants to win and will spend, Lee's 12.8, Barnes' 25 and Dwight Powell's 10.2 off the books after next season.
