I guess this belongs in this thread now that he's out of soccer.

A little lucky as I assume he was trying to bump it into the slope face and not the opposite lip of the cart path.

Still, I like this position:

65 with his partner in best ball....I wonder what he shot on his own ball...

A little lucky? There is no way in hell he was trying to hit it that way. But luck is part of the game sometimes.

It's like these LIV guys are dead...they don't exist in the PGA player's world anymore
Which, with the exception of maybe DJ, is fine - because many of the most notorious tour jerks and/or whiners went to LIV

For the most part, yeah. DJ, Stenson, Wolff, and McDowell. I guess Phil can come too just for the drama.

Did end up watching the entire Zards game. The game was basically neck and neck by the 9 minute mark. Yeah the big two were out for the nets. Beal took another vacation day and Kuzma played 11 minutes before rolling his ankle and leaving the game. Did not watch the Portland game so can't comment on that one. That bench player C. Thomas dropped 44 points is really the story of the game. KP fouling out with 3 minutes left didn't help either

Lakers have been mortgaging the future forever…..it’s unsustainable so I get their reluctance….
They have LeBron and just signed him a few months ago to an extension through the 2024-25 season. They should be mortgaging their future because when he's done they're going to suck anyway. There's literally no point for them to hoard their nuts; LeBron is 38 and they are a win-now team but are sitting 13th in the West. Maybe they're just punting on this season and will look to retool over the summer for next year... that's really the only logical explanation for not trying to improve their roster now.

And they're the Lakers so draft picks shouldn't be as important because in theory they shouldn't have any trouble signing big-name free agents because they're not a small market team like Washington.

Which leads me to think maybe he‘ll move on…..this posted after the trade lol….

Maybe. He might request a trade and then the team treading for him knows they’ll have him under contract for two more seasons.

But the Lakers brand is about superstars and winning championships. Trading LeBron would be a tough sell to their fans and another blow to the Lakers mystique. And their management has shown to be wholly incompetent to building a roster with two superstars as a head start so I don’t know why there would be any confidence that they could do it from scratch.
