Last time he got bonked in the head and missed some games, he came back a better player. Let's hope this is the same type of thing.
Can Bouchard be bonked in the head?

I'm surprised that the concussion spotters didn't pull Darnell from that Tampa game. His head bounced off the boards pretty damned hard.
Probably. At that point the Oilers would be in some potentially significant trouble from the League. If he thinks he’s healthy and they do t activate him, does he get the PA involved?

Cause not Edmonton das why!Why didn’t the league get involved when Taylor Hall wanted to be activated with 2 weeks left in Bostons season and they refused?
The League has served notice that they are "on watch" and I have no doubt they would be happy to make an example of some team. It won't be Vegas or Florida, but Edmonton seems like a perfect target. If Kane got the PA involved as the post I quoted speculated about they have pretty much the trigger they need. Ultimately, we know that the League does not act consistently, so their inaction visa vis Boston would not prevent them from doing so this time. And while this is speculation on my part the risk for the Oilers could be significant. In the past when they decided to make an example of a team doing essentially what others had done before the punishment was pretty severe. Why didn’t the league get involved when Taylor Hall wanted to be activated with 2 weeks left in Bostons season and they refused?
