I didn’t know how to navigate this one. The girls name is Abby Labar, she works for the Canes broadcast. She was set to get married in recent months. Here’s her now ex-fiancé confirming the rumors in a tweet.

I think they were hoping it would come to this because having Kane and Toews just slows down the rebuild they are trying.

If he only wants to go to NYR and they wont pony up, I would hang on to him and tell him to play or sit for now.
