Bahahaha. Imagine being behind him at the team buffet. Hungry Leafs are completely f***ed.

He 100% stuck his leg out in order to make contact with Johnson some how since he wasnt able to connect with his shoulder/body. While I doubt he wanted to hit him with his skate in the neck, he's still responsible for his actions and should be served a lifetime suspension from playing pro hockey

Man, really unfortunate

Don't worry. They will be gifted with the 1AO pick next summer

Im not sure I can defend that hit on Johnson anymore as a freak accident. We can now show an established pattern of throwing out his leg to impede a player after missing a hit. Obviously he didnt mean to hit his neck but this guy should not be playing Hockey anymore. Hes beyond reckless.

Man, that looks eerily similar to the hit the other day. The only difference this time is his leg rode up the shaft of Johnson's stick

I still don't understand how they could ban it, as the rulebook allows tape of any color.

Exactly. It was cowardly and absurd to begin with. Just another domino from the Provorov fallout. They went from Hockey Is For Everyone to dramatically overreacting to the fact that not all players want to support the LGBTQ community. Just because some don't, doesn't mean you should put a nix on all signs of support. What a bunch of twats.

Vegas is a strange team to me. On paper they aren’t what I’d think of as a Stanley Cup winning team or top team in the league, but here we are. I guess that speaks to their depth more than anything. I’m still completely unsure how to feel about Eichel as a player. He’s obviously good but their is a part of me who feels he’s a bit overrated

Cassidy is an asshole but he's also a good HC, he got Vegas to buy into blocking shots and doing what it took to win last year. They're a team built for the playoffs.

Montgomery has done a great job in Boston in the regular season, but they went belly up in the playoffs, remains to be seen if this season will be another smoke and mirrors job or last year's PO performance was just one of those things.
