I think our normal rivals are reacting because they're our normal rivals, and we've picked up a few 'lovers' from the other conference now too.
Everyone's waiting for the Kings to fail and picking up Lucic made us even MORE hated.
It's gonna be a long season for the mods, but I love it. I'll bet Sutter does wonders for Lucic, helps him reign it in and unleash when needed.
Love that everyone is up in arms about Lucic sticking up for himself on a cheap play (I HATE out of the box hits, just like off the bench hits), but they're all cheering for Iginla charging 200 ft of ice to jump Brown after an absolutely clean hit and pounding him while he's down, and everyone conveniently forgets Mike Brown charged even farther than Lucic to fight Greene over...a hip check!

how do you see lucic fitting with kopi and gaborik, long-term? i've watched the first game and some preseason games and kind of worries me a bit...
I think he is just adjusting to new linemates. He played with Krecji for a LONG time

Andreoff made Goodrow his ***** last night. Jesus what a whooping. Although I gotta believe that Andreoff was using Goodrow as a punching bag representing Sutter for benching him much of the second.
