I guess Lucic should just take it like a ***** and show no emotion or heart into it like the rest of the Kings did last year. I Loved What Lucic did. He doesn't take **** from no one. He will get more comfortable and start ****ing **** up !

Forgot about that  Was beautiful.

We're going to see more physicality with this year's roster for better or for worse. Maybe getting people more involved most nights will usually be good.

I'm really surprised that there is so little chatter about the Couture hit on Lucic around the league. That hit was clean from a rule book standpoint, but it was a dirty, cheap play from a game situation standpoint. All these people saying "beauty hit" and all this other garbage have never played the game on any level. At that point in the game, with that score, knowing the player does not suspect it, that hit is delivered for no reason other than malice. Any player in any league would respond to that hit accordingly because they would understand the intent of it immediately. Anyone who thinks Couture didn't know what he was doing is being incredibly naive.

Ditto. Couture is a ****ing idiot for being surprised at the result. I'm glad Lucic went ballastic. Couture always has this stupid surprised look on his face - his regular face.

95% of the people on this site need to go watch gymnastics or some other rubbish sport where everyone gets a star. When did everyone become a *****?

Great post and great points.

it had to be the dumbest hit I have seen in a while, the second it happened you knew the result for couture and when they showed the replay in the building of that look on his face , freaking classic and really looking forward to the ducks games to see if kesler does any of his cheap**** with 17 on the team

and for AA when goodruw tried to pin his right hand AA switched to his left and hit him another barrage shows AA 's ability to adapt and overcome ,LOL

lucic made a fine statement with couture, and he'll repeat the exercise on request, but that's not the only reason why he was brought here. the first line should start producing at some moment, and i'm waiting for that to happen.

Yup, great point. Couture basically thought "hehe here comes Lucic I'm gonna get him good"
But in that situation in the game it was cheap. I really don't blame Lucic for blowing up on the guy.

The Kings are the bigger villain. Well, Torres is the bigger villain, but after him. Nobody likes Brown. Either more, or just as many people don't like Lucic. On top of that, the Kings are not just a villain, but a lucky villain. So Couture knowing what he's doing with the hit on Lucic, or knocking Quick over, it all gets overshadowed. Maybe for good reason, but overshadowed nonetheless.

I'd rather the Kings come out of SJ with a win on the 22nd than do anything too dumb, but, we'll see how it goes. Couture is laughing because the score was 5-1, and the Kings didn't even put up a fight for about 55 of the 60 minutes.

We get the privilege of Montreal hate now on the boards for having Lucic.

I'm just glad neither Brown or Lucic will be suspended.

@lakingsinsider: No further discipline for Brown/Lucic. Hockey ops spoke with the league and will talk to the players regarding the call.

Generation P. I've said it before. A lot of these kids are gonna have a real bad time later in life when there isn't a moderator and a keyboard between them and real life.

Plus, he was just going for a regular line change! I've never seen someone get up and run for it so fast in my life. Wonder why that could have been...

The most important thing is feelings. We have to walk on eggshells so no one gets offended.

Leave it to a ****hole show like Family Guy to use the worst tragedy this country has ever faced as a punchline. Garbage show.

Yeah, I'm really not shocked that everyone is attacking the Kings players, but I hope people start wising up to Couture's act this year. Him playing dumb/coy isnt going to go over well either.

Only if you're a whiny ass prima donna kings fan. The hit was clean, get over it. No one is talking about it, because there's nothing worth talking about, unless, once again, you're a whiny ass, prima donna kings fan.

Yeesh, no wonder other fans hate some of us.

Other fans hate "us" becasue their favorite team has been the Kings' ***** and we clearly have the league in our pocket.

The laughing was the worst part.

Zeiler territory.
