I think the lions have something like 7 games left against teams that are bottom 5 in ESPN's power rankings. Coming out of this stretch of the schedule 3-1 after playing in Green Bay and Arrowhead is about the best case that was realistic, and they did it extremely injured.
And with that, I'm expecting to go 5-1 in the division this year. After that convincing win in Lambeau, I expect a win against the Packers on Thanksgiving. They should also sweep the Bears, and I'll guess they'll split with the Vikings (just because).

It's a long season and everybody loses at least a few games. But so far this really does look like a team that should win their division and host a playoff game with a good chance to win it. And that's exciting.

Anytime I think I'm not that into foolsball I get pulled back in by Dan Miller calls.

Same thing with baseball and Dan Dickerson home run calls.

I'd shoutout the other teams but I'm more of an active fan for those.

Its funny because as good as they've been and as excited as Lions fans are I think we have been let down so many times that there is a level of wait and see that almost no other fan base would have.

This is the most fun the Lions have been in my lifetime so I'll enjoy it while I can.

As good as the Lions are right now, I am still extremely unhappy about picking Gibbs at #12. Even if the player had not been injured and could contribute right now, I cannot get myself to ignore how Swift produces for the Eagles or how quickly reserve and FA RBs chime in like with the Browns. It feels like a good pick thrown away, since productive RBs aren't difficult to acquire at all.
