Oh man. Which playoff year was this? Haha.
Just going to point out that if it was in 2009, Jake Chelios was a pretty high level 17/18 year old player that Datsyuk could potentially get some valuable stickhandling practice with. "Playing with his kid" and "stepped on" kind of makes you picture a 3 year old on the iceThe only options are '04, '07, and '09. Those are the only years with Datsyuk and Chelios where the Wings won a round but not the Cup. '09 is looking like a strong candidate considering Pavel missed a chunk of time with an ankle issue...
I wonder if player kids are still allowed on the ice anymore?
My heart and mind won't let me think it's 09.The only options are '04, '07, and '09. Those are the only years with Datsyuk and Chelios where the Wings won a round but not the Cup. '09 is looking like a strong candidate considering Pavel missed a chunk of time with an ankle issue...

@Bench I was just catching up on some youtube videos this afternoon and remembered you've said here several times that you were a Vikings fan [/MEDIA]
Oof. I'm a Packers fan.
But I live in Minneapolis among the Vikings fans so I understand confusion and won't take this as an act of war.
I have heard very good things about that video series, though! I'm just very hyped for the start of the new NFL season. So many great storylines brewing and it's anyone's guess how it will shake out. Are the Lions for real? Will the Packers fall apart without Rodgers or will they surprise people? Are the Vikings finally going to take the next step and look like a contender? Is Fields the answer for the Bears? And that's just the NFC North. The AFC looks like a bloodbath right now.
oops I guess I somehow conflated the Minneapolis thing with the being a fan of a non Lions Football team in my head

@Bench I was just catching up on some youtube videos this afternoon and remembered you've said here several times that you were a Vikings fan while watching the first couple parts of something
figured i'd make sure you were aware of this gems existence, these things are usually entertaining and this one is no exception even as someone who doesn't care about Football and certainly doesn't care about the VIkings, 3 out of 7 parts of it are out so far:
The Mariners one is my favorite so far. It's just jaw dropping what that franchise has done and past ownership.Secret Base has histories of the Atlanta Falcons, Seattle Mariners and the career of Dave Stieb that are essential viewing.
Pretty sure @Frk It is the resident Vikings fan
What do I have to do to convert you? Get Justin Jefferson to do the griddy in your front yard?Oof. I'm a Packers fan.

That first game was fun… remember?Looking forward to this matchup again...

It's pretty funny seeing someone like Seider look like a thin bean pole next to these absolute units that are NFL players. And how about St. Brown showing off his German?
I came back to post this, it's actually hilarious how small Jared Goff makes Mo look.Even Goff makes Seider look tiny lol.
Seider definitely has room to add like 20 pounds by the time hes in his prime. Raymond says hes 186 too, gonna be a sturdy dude
I think there was a weird camera angle or something going on there because it wasn't just a bulk thing. They are listed at the same height, and Goff was looking like an NBA center in those shots.I came back to post this, it's actually hilarious how small Jared Goff makes Mo look.
The angle affected it during the video but at the end they showed a picture of them and he's bigger but not by as much as the original angle made it seem.I think there was a weird camera angle or something going on there because it wasn't just a bulk thing. Not to be a jerk but I think you forget they are wearing cleats, a lot of NFL guys put on an inch cleat. Looked like Raymond and Seider were wearing flip flops. So you got a cleat and shoe and whatever elevation difference you have coming off the field along with the angle as other are saying. It can make this look pretty different in a hurry. I thought the part where Raymond grabbed the bag they were tossing around and realized it was tough to move was also hilarious.I think there was a weird camera angle or something going on there because it wasn't just a bulk thing.
