I was 9 years old in 1970. The Lions were playing the Saints. My Dad and I are watching on TV. I was so happy because they were going to win this one! I then watch Tom Dempsey's 63 yd fiels goal sail through the uprights. Lions lose. I'm crushed. Crying my eyes out, I turn to my dad. He looks at me soberly (the only time he ever did that) and said, "Get used to it, boy."

Tigers gonna have the worst offense in baseball, but at least we'll be able to enjoy saying how great our pitching depth is.

The offense is so bad that Lorenzen might even be a help with his hitting for this team... But kidding aside, I don't like that signing (unlike Boyd's).

Dan Campbell seems to have turned this team around. They think they’re gonna win every game they play. Which is a great attitude to have!

Have to win ugly this late in the year. No style points for this team
Goff can play much better than he did yesterday, but the Jets didn't allow much good QB play recently. Goff's rating actually was one of the better numbers against them.
The Lions have a decent chance to make up for their early season slump. And with all due respect: If you want to be more than a doormat in the playoffs, you should be able to beat the Panthers, Bears and Packers - winning ugly would suffice...

Table #2 - Easy. I would primarily want to listen to Mick tell stories. I'd want to listen to Mo just talk about how he's great at everything he triez. And I'd want to "philosophize" with Saddiq Bey; really good guy, I think. I don't know ish about the other two guys but I would at least hope they're not annoying.
I'd be way too tempted to troll the other tables like an asshole.
