Canucks fan having no interest in inciting anything and just one question...after seeing Kopitar's stats and you guys moaning about Kopitar in the shootout, I was quite surprised. I was scared when he when he lined up at center ice.
I could swear he was money and consistently scoring spectacular the shootout last or perhaps the season. Did something happen or is my memory of him being spectacular several years old?

It's possible Kopitar didn't even know he was out there for the shootout. Maybe he thought he was dreaming since he slept through the game.

You've obviously never seen one of these boards go into a total meltdown. That would be my guess. They are on the freeway slowing down hoping to see the remains from an accident.

He is still above 28% for his career average . Kopitar is just having a bad season in the shootout this year. Along with the entire Kings team.

It's more that just Kopitar. With the second shootout win, and we only have 2, the team more than doubled the total goals scored in the shootouts this year. I want to say that one went 4 rounds and we scored on 3. But can't exactly remember. But up to that point they had scored exactly 1 goal in the shootout all year.

Got his wife preggers and she recently had the kid.. so yeah. Kopitar's probably a very distracted man right now. Same thing happened to Brown with his first son(though I believe his first son had to remain at the hospital extra time or something?)
Missing the playoffs this year but hey, we won 2 cups in 3 years. Hey, the Sharks are missing the playoffs, who cares if the Kings do...
