Post-Game Talk: Lou unable to beat a team lead by Joe Woll. Leafs win 3-0.

The way the guys play for eachother and not to pad their stats is exactly how you win cups.

I'll say this.. Jack Campbell plays for this team and not to pad his stats. He just plays hard. When a team sees their goalie play well, stay humble and back the up when they don't play well...they guys follow suit..he's been nothing but a pure boost in the right direction for this team. They're gonna do it and they're gonna do it with the big 4 plus jack I can feel it

Reminds me of the Bruins mods that came to this board in the playoffs and infracted people for negative comments made here. They wouldn't survive 1 day as a Leaf fan, so sensitive.

We had Habs fans last season come here gloating and straight up taunting during the playoffs too and nothing ever happened to them

Ive also came over to post in the Devils forum in the past, and was treated with lots of respect, a big fan of some of the players on the team, like Blackwood, Hughes, and Nico

I post just about anywhere on this website.. but I also dont seem to understand that there is a lot of animosity between boards

not that I dont know how sports fans work; but on Reddit, it was a lot harder to do these sorts of things as they were entirely different pages and more annoying to get to, plus teams had the ability to block outside posters during/post games

Honestly it’s astounding to me that some people can dedicate so much energy to not only hating a team thousands of kilometres away, but being so active about it. Like maybe I really don’t get just how angry the media coverage makes Western Canadians and gets them so worked up about the Leafs, but Christ it’s a sports team. Could put that energy into literally anything else more productive than frothing mad about a team you see twice a year.

I have zero insider knowledge here, and this post will likely get deleted, but I’d bet good money that our mods here are much more scrutinized than other teams mods. Just look at the amount of trolling that’s allowed to happen to us as regular posters on the main boards (and here when other fans get brave enough to click on over), then extrapolate that same treatment to the higher ups. You think every mod or admin is “impartial?” Please, I’d bet if a Leaf mod tried to remove inflammatory posts on the Bruins or Habs boards like Bruins mods did here they’d be stripped of their privileges and status without a second thought.

i have moved from east to out west and the only media coverage they get of the leafs is the main TSN and Sportsnet stuff. I guess that can be annoying but in this day and age you can always listen to podcasts to listen to whatever your favorite team is.

If you catch the SN Pacific Sportsnet Central highlight morning show and the way Vancouverites talk you’d think there’d be a lot of Leafs coverage. In reality the show goes out of its way to not talk about the Leafs, waiting till after the first commercial break before even showing game highlights. Now that to me doesn’t scream “having the Leafs rammed down your throat” but what do I know? I haven’t spent most of my adult life cultivating a persecution complex over media coverage.

Questions for another day I suppose. They won this game the right way, Keefe has them playing playoff style, shutdown hockey over the last dozen games or so.

My hope is put him on first line to hopefully build a little trade value then trade him asap
