I have zero insider knowledge here, and this post will likely get deleted, but I’d bet good money that our mods here are much more scrutinized than other teams mods. Just look at the amount of trolling that’s allowed to happen to us as regular posters on the main boards (and here when other fans get brave enough to click on over), then extrapolate that same treatment to the higher ups. You think every mod or admin is “impartial?” Please, I’d bet if a Leaf mod tried to remove inflammatory posts on the Bruins or Habs boards like Bruins mods did here they’d be stripped of their privileges and status without a second thought.
I'd bet money on it.

Mods on divisional rival boards (+ Oilers, Isles, etc.) explicitly make negative comments about Leaf fans. I've seen Habs and Bruins mods liking posts that are clearly flaming by definition. Yet as a Leaf fan you can't like a post without thread ban/infraction.

Our admins likely moderate in a way that's as neutral and by the book as possible. If you're a Leaf fan and you sneeze "that's why everyone hates Leaf fans". Then there's the global mod on our board that actively roots against the team pretending to be a mainboard white knight.

This is actually what Babcock tried to instill in the team and he failed.
Poor teacher? Poor Communicator? Poor Execution of a plan? Good thing he's not coach anymore - we'll see if he eventually turns up somewhere after he's bled the Leafs for maximum alimony. How's his French?

Too old school and the game passed him by. But I do believe he'll be back eventually. There's a similar coach in Darryl Sutter who seems to be adapting to today's game, although it took him a porous year last year to see what the game is like now.

Check out the Oilers Out of Thread. They are a few posters there who absolutely loathe anything Leafs or Toronto. I really hope these fellas aren’t in any meaningful relationship because that would be utterly hell for the poor partner.
still think Vancouver fans and people in general beat out any oilers hate...its always a competition for not just the team but the city itself. Like man...chill the hell out.

Positives:

1. great game by Woll. If he continues this perhaps we can rid ourselves of injury prone Mrazeks cap hit

2. Kampf-Kate continue to be extremely productive as a third line.

3. Good defensive structure even though we were careless with the puck at times.

Negatives:

1. the power play

2. Tavares needs Marner

3. Nylander with his worst game in a long time

4. Offence still not clicking.

Leafs board is heavily moderated compared to Isles or Oilers.

I got an infraction for calling the Oilers “the Coilers” here.

meanwhile the name calling, the mocking, the city bashing, the over the top hatred over there is all within the rules and encouraged.

I can see him with Vancouver tbh, once they get rid of Greene IMO.

Great game by the leafs, I honestly liked all lines, would have liked to see a bit more from the JT-Nylander line, but Willy had a rough game (for his standards). Shout out to Woll, leafs solid D and Engvall, dude could have scored 3-4 goals today

The meat heads saying this is what Mike Babcock and Lou were trying to do here, are the ones who call “Dumbass” a nerd, yet don’t realize that this kind of defensive structure is analytically driven.

Lou's idea of dmen acquisitions were Hainsey and Zaitsev. That was Lou's contribution to team defense. Literally nothing else.

Babcock couldn't coach a lick of defense into the team in all his years here, while Keefe's leafs have been good defensively from week 1.
