Good game in one that we definitely should have won.
Playing a team that just got home from the longest season opening road trip in league history (and second longest ever), who immediately had to play back-to-back games while missing seven regulars, including their captain and their two best defencemen.
Anything less than a win would have been shameful.

The first thing Lamoriello did when he lost Tavares was to go after Komarov,now when Komarov has gone to Russia the team collapse they all get injured and sick. Its like last PO , Komarov started on first line 18 of 19 games, the game he dont they lose 8-0.
They used to post here as Interactif. They were a big Grabovski fan. They eventually let the team board and rebranded as the winter soldier. They were a Jets\Laine fan before becoming an Islanders fan right when Tavares signed here.
They seem to mostly keep to the Islanders board these days. Not nearly as bad as they used to be.

It’s really no wonder why he’s had such issues staying healthy, if he can dial it back to like 9/10 every once in a while instead of balls to wall every shift we might be able to squeeze a number of good years at great value from him (he’s still an rfa after this season)

Holy hell there are some seriously salty Isles fans. They’re saying we are making a big deal of this but they’re the ones obsessing. This was just another game to us. Get over it.
An active poster on this board for years who masqueraded as a Leaf fan (under the handle Interactif, trolled the Leaf board all the time) and it was eventually revealed that he cheered against the team the entire time.

Damn, this is truly very pathetic. When I go to the main boards I notice him from time to time -always writing against us. Do you remember how he trolled us? Like Senor Martinez I know just has this online personality - to make us feel happy. I think he is the biggest troll on your board, but in a good way I guess.

Best thing is Soup got the night off and now rest from Saturday until Wednesday.
I really think they should rest him more often, we are playoff bound, and shouldn't burn him out in the regular season
