He had some pucks retrievals. He also had about 5 lazy give sways, over passing and still refusing to shoot on a 2 on 1.

I was not a fan of his game at all.

Ya... clearly I know that, but the way to win is not to get outplayed, not sure why this is hard for some to grasp, playing better hockey usually leads to more wins than playing worse hockey. Hockey is a random sport and this is not always the case, but dominating the other team gives you a better chance to win than playing even hockey.

Thankfully the Buds held on tonight as the trolls were salivating at the thought of a 2nd loss to start the season with bad goaltending. Leafs could have easily scored a few more with all the odd man rushes in the 3rd. Feels good. Only complaint were the fans at the arena. Why is it so hard for our fans to get out of their seat during a pregame ceremony? I remember being at a hall of fame game and they wouldn’t even get up for legends of the game. Or Mathews tonight. Odd.

As if ads on jerseys and helmets wasn't bad enough now they have to add those STUPID electronic boards so that they can cycle different ads every so often? I found it distracting and it SUCKS that they're here to stay. Looks like they won't stop until they exhaust every damn way to generate more money for MLSE.
