It seems almost a given when the Bruins have the lead late and the other team pulls the goalie, they will score to tie it. The B's just cannot get that damn puck out of the zone or hit the empty net to clinch it. Sweeney needs to start selling now before guys could get injured. Marchand, Coyle, Carlo, Frederic and any UFA should be moved out for the best deals possible.

That loss is on Swayman. The guys in front of him were doing their job and he just let Marner walk around him. I’m warming up to the idea of trading him.

Shoulda just payed Ullmark and traded swayman when his value was highest, he just doesn’t seem to have it anymore

I feel for the players. They played hard tonight. They cared. They battled. It wasn't good enough.

Repeated losses like this can break an organization.

They also choked like they normally do. Gotta break these guys up, they just fold. The team is all Pasta with a side of Geekie and Marchand. They are predictibly worse without their top 2 D but they weren't great with Mac or Lindy either

Don has to win a trade big time to help this team scoring wise and prevent goals. Big task. Team a mess but they right there knocking on a playoff spot . Coaching is a major issue sacco isn't the guy for this team.

There’s no way Beecher is going anywhere. The guy is a staple and clearly part of our core. Rightfully so as he definitely brings the excitement and gets the crowd going.

I was all for Swayman getting what he felt he deserved. The “spoiled gen z” stuff made me roll my eyes.


BUT. You gotta know, if you do that, and it becomes a spectacle, you better make damn sure you play lights out or your life is going to become pretty quickly stressful.

Shit, in his shoes, I ask for less simply because I know how precarious the goalie situation is and a bad team/season can often times fall on you.

Guess he thought he could handle the pressure, but his little shove that ended our season in game 7 OT 2023 tells me otherwise

It speaks volumes that Mike Sullivan didn't give Swayman any ice time in the game with Sweden. last week that meant nothing.

Let's be realistic - Don't you think Sullivan asked his son-in-law about Swayman????

I think if anything it’s proven that Sacco is not a viable head coach in the league. Yeah the top end talent outside Pasta is really non existent due to negligence in scouting and drafting talent but like you said this team is unable to get in the right positions during crunch time. The next head coach (and hopefully next GM) can’t be anyone with ties to this organization. Please hire from outside. That means no alumni like Donato, no hiring Mougenel and no hiring Leach. Please just take a risk somewhere on someone who has never worked for the organization or put on the sweater.

But then again…will anything change while Sweeney Neely and Harry are running the ship? Probably not.

They're at 0-2.
We have 9 games left at home.
On the road we have scored just 68 goals and have allowed 106.

Pastrnak is doing his best to put this team on his shoulders and carry them.

Here’s the thing that’s frustrating: Sweeney hits on a guy like Geekie who chips in some really solid secondary scoring the past two seasons, but it ends up being a waste because there are too many misses in other key areas and too many holes in the roster.

I didn't see the game but saw Frederic had about 5 minutes of ice time. Don't tell me he's hurt just before we trade him. Where else are we going to get a bag of pucks?
