A sadly predictable loss ...again

Once the Lesfs scored early in the third you could feel the crowd going 'here we go again" - the third Leafs goal felt inevitable.

The second Pasta goal was a thing of beauty and a perfect counter-point to the cluster of a system the team uses late in the game. The Ty Anderson roll call of late period goals keeps growing and - to me- is the most telling stat of what this team really is.

This was yet another game when picking up a point is completely deceiving - this is a team with a number of players that need to be jettisoned -either by trade or in the case of Wahlstrom to the AHL.

I like cats but dogs are betterer.
No way parrots my conure is my best friend shes always with me. They very tight to their owners . Very loving.

I watched behind the B and Zadorov was chirping Brady Tkachuk steady saying things like you are trying to avoid me etc etc.Where the fk was he at tonite? Freddy was the guy getting nose in there and then took dirty shot to head and crickets.

When I see Matt Poitras, I see Ryan Spooner.
Could go either way. Krejci spent two/three years in Providence. He had the IQ, but didn’t have the strength yet and he wasn’t the greatest of skaters. He needed to learn how to find space and use his IQ /playmaking to his advantage. I see that in Potrias, but he is up way too early. He does not have the strength yet to hold off players while looking for a play option. If he can’t buy time like Krejci learned he won’t last long. So he does have a two direction path, he ends up like Krejci or ends up like Spooner. Still think he needs more time and a good playoff run in Providence may be very helpful to his game.

So Don, you keep saying he has some work to do.

What in your mind should he be doing right now?
Packing his suitcase :biglaugh:

This team stinks, so it is ok he is up.This will benefit him later bigtime.Get in that Weight room and get a power skating instructor out there with you over summer.Put the work in.

He learned the word book it from the parrot 😂

Oh Don so much fun having you on the boards. Very entertaining
Don rules, but my god.

Seriously though. If I ever entered a residence and the home owner had a pet with a beak, I’m out so f***ing quickly. Like I’m absolutely gone so quickly your head would spin.

We’ll see. Not sure this is the best environment to learn. Team is skidding big time. Less pressure in the AHL.
